 1.Ferrari 296 Speciale Review 2025: Track-Focused Hybrid Masterpiece

**Ferrari 296 Speciale: Seriously Impressive!**

Ferraris have a way of grabbing your attention, right? Everyone drools over the big V12 models like the LaFerrari or SF90, which are amazing, sure. But I've always been drawn to the smaller, more driver-focused Ferraris and I think that they are way more fun.

**What's the Big Deal?**

For a long time, Ferrari's been building these hardcore track cars. Remember the 348 and F355 Challenge cars? Cool stuff. But that 360 Challenge Stradale from '03? That thing was extra special. Crazy light, super loud, and seriously quick. It proved that Ferrari could make an immensely fun car, even without a giant V12. It will always remain as a classic that people look up to.

Then came the 430 Scuderia. Word has it, Schumacher had a hand in it! It was an awesome way to improve the idea, and it was stunning. Then the 458 Speciale came – Ferrari’s last V8 that wasn't turbo. Many people still think it's the best-sounding V8 to exist. The 488 that followed had a turbo, but the track versions just kept on dropping and improving every time.

Now, it’s the 296’s chance to shine. What makes sure it's different? It’s a hybrid, which might worry some people, but put your foot down and get that instant electric power and you will be mind blown. If you see one up close? It's definitely a show-stopper. Everyone will be looking at it. This is a car that gets respect.

**A Hybrid That Works**

The 296 Speciale has an upgraded version of the engine from the 296 GTB. That means: same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, electric motor, and battery bit. The guys who made it were super serious. They changed the turbos and grabbed some ideas from the 296 Challenge race cars. The V6 can reach 36 more horsepower. When you add the 177 hp from the electric motor, you’re at 868 hp together.

It’s not just about the power, though; it’s how it comes to you. The gear changes are fast, and wow that engine note! It isn’t like any other V6. It will blow you away.

**Drop the Weight, Add the Fun**

Honestly, lighter is always the play, especially when sports cars are mentioned. The Speciale loses about 132 pounds compared to the GTB. It hits 3,108 pounds in total. That means you're getting 616 hp per ton. Not bad, right?

Ferrari didn’t hold back, and made use of titanium for parts, to not weigh as much. I doubt that they cared about the cost of losing that weight.

**Crazy Aerodynamics**

The 296 Speciale gets aero ideas from the Ferrari 296 racers. This car has tremendous grip. You could even say it sticks to the road like glue. At 155 mph, it makes about 959 pounds of downforce, which is 20% more than the GTB. The GTB is seriously fast!

One thing is that the panel helps move air around the car. Air is moved through the front, and the rear wing teams with the spoiler. On the track, it all leads to speed!

What happens with all the aero changes? Better times. You can go into corners with more self-assurance and carry more speed without the car feeling all jittery.

**A Good Looking Car**

Is there anyone out there who thinks this thing is ugly? The newer Ferraris can seem a bit weird in photos at first, but they nailed this one. The extra aero bits match spot on. The exhaust tips sit higher above the rear diffuser, and the black trim makes it seem even more aggressive. It has lightweight wheels, which are important.

If you want to be a driver, you can put numbers and racing stripes on it.

**Driving is Fun**

The 296 Speciale isn’t just for lap records it’s fun on the road too. It’s lower than the GTB, but it deals with bumps fine. Whether you are on the road or on the track, Ferrari discovered the right balance.

About the numbers? This car goes from 0 to 62 mph in about 2.8 seconds and hits 124 mph in seven seconds. High speed? 205 mph. I’ve heard that it's faster than the LaFerrari around Ferrari’s track.

The tires have insane grip. The balance and performance make it enjoyable.

**Modern Goodies**

The 296 has everything tech-wise that you could wish for. The display is clear and easy to see, and the controls are good in your hands.

The 296 is well-made.

**Overall: It’s Awesome!**

The Ferrari 296 feels good. When on the track, it does everything right.

The 296 Speciale makes you feel great.

**What's Next?**

A 296 XX? Ferrari knows how to get people crazy. A stick shift one? That would be excellent!

Ferrari knows how to build the cars that people want. The 296 feels like it shows how modern tech mixes driving fun.

2.Metroid Prime Producer Hints at Enthusiasm for a Metroid Prime 2 Remake

🧪 Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Needs a Remake, and Fans Know It

With Metroid Prime 4 coming soon, Nintendo fans are itching to play the older games. But playing the Metroid Prime trilogy in 2025 is harder than it should be. Metroid Prime Remastered was great, but the rest of the games are hard to find unless you dig out your old GameCube or Wii.

Because of this, fans are asking Nintendo to re-release or remaster the other games, like Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Kensuke Tanabe, who was a producer for the Metroid Prime games, also wants to see Echoes remade.

🎮 What the Developer Wants

In the book Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective, Tanabe talks about making Echoes and its multiplayer mode. He said that the multiplayer was designed for local play, so not many people got to try it. He said if they remade it, he'd be happy for more people to play it.

This shows that Nintendo is thinking about a remake. Since Metroid Prime Remastered was a success, Echoes seems like the next thing to do.

🕹️ Hard to Access

Right now, it's tough to play Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It's not on the Nintendo Switch, and it's not on Nintendo Switch Online. The only way to play Echoes is with the old GameCube disc or the Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii, which is rare and expensive.

So, most people can only easily play the first remastered game. It's too bad, because Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is a good sequel. It had a dual-world thing, a darker story, and harder fights. It also helped set up Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

📦 Bring Back the Trilogy

Since Metroid Prime 4 comes out on December 4, bringing back the Metroid Prime Trilogy would be great timing. Nintendo has done this before with the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection.

Doing the same thing for the Prime trilogy would make everyone happy. New players could play the whole story before Metroid Prime 4, and old fans could play the games again without using emulators or spending a lot of money.

Even better, Nintendo could redo Echoes and Corruption like they did with the first game. The first remaster was really well done. Doing that for the other games would make them even better.

📚 Worth Buying

While we wait for Nintendo, fans can check out Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective. This book looks at how the games were made, with thoughts from the people at Retro Studios and Nintendo.

If you played these games growing up, this book will remind you of old times. If you're new to the series, it's a good way to learn about these games.

🔮 What's Coming with Metroid Prime 4

The main reason everyone is talking about this is Metroid Prime 4. After a long wait, the game is coming out on December 4, 2025. People are expecting a lot from it.

The new Prime game will continue the story from Corruption and have new stuff to do. It should also look great on the Switch.

But some fans are worried because they can't play the older games. If you haven't played Echoes or Corruption, you're missing part of the story.

🧠 Nintendo Needs to Do Something

Kensuke Tanabe's words suggest that Nintendo is thinking about a remake. With Metroid Prime 4 coming soon, now is the perfect time. Nintendo could put the games on Nintendo Switch Online, re-release the trilogy, or fully remaster Echoes and Corruption.

People want to play these games. The Prime series is one of Nintendo's best. It should be kept safe and played by everyone.

Until then, fans can read the new book, play Metroid Prime Remastered, and wait for Metroid Prime 4. Maybe Nintendo will surprise us before then. In the world of Metroid, waiting pays off.
