1.This Flagship Lasts All Week on One Charge — and It’s Not From Apple or Samsung

I've been hearing a lot about this Oppo Find X9 Pro, and people are really fixated on how long the battery lasts. Seriously, they're saying it lasts forever, which is a big deal in our phone-obsessed world. From what I gather, it's rocking this huge 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, and they've paired it with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.

A lot of phones these days just feel... the same. But there is something different when you pick up the Find X9 Pro. I got to try a test version for about a week, and I only needed to plug it in, like, three or four times. I even gave it a little juice once just to check how quickly it charged. Honestly, the battery might be the single best thing about this phone. I don’t know if it's only because the battery is big, but whatever they did, they did it right.

**Silicon-Carbon Batteries: What's the Big Deal?**

This battery isn't messing around. At 7,500mAh, it's not just sizeable; it feels like where phones are going. From what I understand, it offers benefits compared to regular lithium-ion batteries. People who know more than me are saying that silicon-carbon keeps your phone powered longer on a single charge. Plus, it handles temperature better, so your phone doesn’t get too hot. If you compare it to something like the Galaxy S25 Ultra – which supposedly has a 5,000mAh battery – the Find X9 Pro could potentially last about twice as long. That’s impressive.

I even heard rumors that the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the Pixel 10 Pro XL are looking into this silicon-carbon idea that Oppo’s using. Which is interesting. Because just because you cram a huge battery into a phone doesn't automatically make it great. This would be good for people who use their phones constantly, gamers, or anyone needing their phone to survive the day without giving up.

**The Brains: The Dimensity 9500**

I kind of think that it's the dream team of that great battery and the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 CPU that enables the Find X9 Pro to last. The techy people say that this CPU is built using a special 3nm process. This means it gives you peak performance while sipping as little power as it can. I'm hearing that this CPU uses about 37% less power. When you put it against the Dimensity 9400, it saves about 55% of battery.

The Find X9 Pro isn’t using power on stuff it doesn't need to. If you're playing games or using demanding apps, it figures out how to handle power. The Dimensity 9500 chip should be up there with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and Apple’s A19 Pro. Before long, I think we'll see it show up in lots of other top-end phones.

**Everyday Life**

I’m pretty sure you could get a day and a half of normal use on this battery. And if you're into gaming or binge-watching videos, the Find X9 Pro could probably make it through the whole day without you having to charge it. Also, Oppo’s fast-charging can get it back to full pretty quickly.

And you won't have to fight over chargers every hour. People who are always moving will enjoy this. It makes something easier to consider about. Did you notice how batteries in older phones would only last around a year at most? That shouldn't be as much of an issue here.

**What's Coming?**

When you consider what Oppo is doing with silicon-carbon, with useful chips from MediaTek, you can see where phone companies are going. In other words, we should all be on the lookout for things like AI, XR (extended reality), and advanced games. A lot of what will happen will depend on heat. Unlike many of the phones being sold now, the Find X9 Pro gives us a glimpse of what phones will be doing soon. With a big battery and a smart chip. The Oppo Find X9 Pro is starting things off right and is reshaping expectations for phones really soon. Since there are changes always happening. Many companies plan to alter phones.

2.Insta360 Unveils X4 Air, a More Affordable Take on the X5 Action Cam

Insta360 just came out with the X4 Air, and it's kind of interesting. Think of it as the smaller version of their X5. The X5 is great, but honestly, not everyone has that much cash to spend. So, half a year later, Insta360 was like, Let's build a 360 camera that won't break your bank. The X4 Air is smaller and easy to bring, but it still gets 8K video with a price of $399.99 and shipping everywhere through Insta360's site in black and white. Still no word on when it hits the U.S. and Canada.

**Can It Film? Yes, in 8K!**

A great thing is that you still get 360-degree 8K video at 30fps. Not bad when you see the cost. The X5 and the old X4 can do quicker slow-motion at 4K (up to 100fps). But the X4 Air still works well. When you lower the video quality to 4K, it shoots at 50fps. Or, if you change to single-lens mode at 1080p, you can get smooth video at 120fps.

So, if you're doing videos just for kicks, making travel videos, or anything close, the X4 Air is easy to use and gets a great video. If you're doing pro work that need crazy high frame rates, or film in bad lighting, the X5 might be a fit.

**Picture Quality: Not That Sharp, But Still Serviceable**

It isn't all great. The X4 Air doesn't take super sharp photos. It only shoots at 29 megapixels. The X5 and X4 both have 72MP. If you always shoot pictures, it might not be for you. Except for this, it is fine.

The sensor's better, though. The X4 Air have two 1/1.8-inch sensors. The original X4 used 1/2-inch sensors. So the photos should appear better. The X5 use larger 1/1.28-inch sensors. It works better when it is darker.

**How Easy to Carry? Easy Enough**

The word Air doesn't mean it's super small. It's not that much smaller than other cameras. It's 10mm shorter (113mm tall) and 165 grams. It's 30 grams lighter than the X4 and X5. You'll notice when you bring it with you.

Since it isn't as big, the battery isn't that big. It holds 2,010mAh. You can record for 88 minutes at 8K/30fps. It is between the X4 and X5's battery. You can plug in a portable charger if you need more power.

**Will It Break Easily? And is it easy to use?**

Insta360 didn't skip stuff. It has removable lens guards like the X4. The lenses can also be swapped if they break.

This camera can dive almost 50 feet (15 meters) underwater without a case. You can take it snorkeling, swimming, or using it when it rains without worry. You can use hand motions, your voice, or rotate the selfie stick to tell the camera what to do instead of using a button.

**Who Should Buy the X4 Air?**

The Insta360 X4 Air? This X4 Air works for the type of person who wants good-looking video at a good price.

It might be the right one for:

*   People who likes making videos for fun and travel.

*   People who loves to share on social media

*   People who loves being outdoors

*   People who don't want to pay an arm and a leg but want 8K video

If you're a professional, or shoot videos in the dark, get the X5.

**The Bottom Line**

The X4 Air has earned its spot. You don't have to spend all your money to film in 8K 360. The X5 is still better, but it helps more people use 8K. It's simple to bring around, and the price is good. People that are always moving but still want a fun camera will buy the X4 Air.

Go out there, and start filming. You don't need overly priced stuff to create content.

3.First Look at DJI’s Romo: The Drone Maker’s First Robot Vacuum

DJI – you know, the drone company – now makes robot vacuums. It's called the DJI Romo. Forget about things flying around in the sky. This thing is all about cleaning your floors; and look kind of cool while it does the job.

**Three Different Kinds**

There are three different versions of the Romo you can pick from:

*   **Romo P (around $2,200):** This is the top-of-the-line model. It has a totally clear design, so you can see all the parts inside. Even the charging station is see-through. It also has all the fancy features.

*   **Romo A (around $1,700):** For this one, only the robot itself is clear.

*   **Romo S (around $1,500):** This one is all white. It uses smart tech for cleaning. it does not have the see-through body or base.

Right now, you can buy them in Europe on the DJI website. I do not know when it hits the US. The 'P' model's charging station comes with a couple of extras for the price difference. In fact, most of the extra cash goes towards getting to see right into it.

**Is Being Able to See Through It Cool or Gross?**

Do you remember those old Game Boys? The Romo P version is kind of like that, especially the clear ones. You can watch all the parts move while it's cleaning. It can look neat to watch.

Is seeing dirt collecting inside going to be so great? It's probably a personal choice. DJI makes nice-looking stuff, so it may be worth it to see it in order to decide.

**It Knows Where It Is Going**

DJI is using its brain with this product. The Romo uses cameras and lasers to know where it's going. DJI says it can see small things.

Also, robot vacuums get stuck on things often. It also can learn the layout of your house by itself.

If you're really tired of your robot vacuum running into things & getting stuck often, this might be a welcome.

**OK, But Does It Really Clean?**

So, say it looks neat and can avoid obstacles, you might ask, do they work? It comes with

*   **A lot of suction.**

*   **A roller brush:** This helps with hair without getting tangled.

*   **A brush that sticks out:** So it can get corners.

*   **Two spinning mop pads:** You get shiny floors.

*   **A system allows it to skip rugs:** So they are not be mopped.

*   **A big water tank:** Lets it clean longer.

The Romo can compete with the best robot vacuums. If it is a little expensive, you get what you pay for.

**The Home Base Is the Charging Station**

The Romo's charging station does the charging, but it does other things, too. On the 'P' model, it

*   **Uses jets of water:** This helps keep the mop pads clean.

*   **Hot air dries:** Stops mold & odors.

*   **Quiet:** Won’t wake up the house.

Overall, this makes owning the Romo pretty simple. The quiet base is great if you live in a small space.

**Does Size Matter?**

The Romo is a bit bigger than other robot vacuums but only slightly so. That’s because it has more sensors. So, take measurements to make sure that it fits under furniture.

Because it is a bit bigger, it could make it worthwhile because the increased size leads to improved navigation

**Is It Worth It?**

The Romo is more than just a cleaner. It uses some fancy tech from drones.

You'll need to consider price for design and smart sensors as that is a factor.

**Smart Cleaning Is Here**

The DJI Romo is unique. It’s got a bold design, smarts, and some muscle. Some tech fans will be intrigued by it. Before purchasing, consider if it's worth the price.

If DJI does a good job, the Romo could change robot vacuums in future. It’s not just about cleaning; it's about being able to work around your home, having skill & smarts, and appearing decent while cleaning.
