1.Windows 10 Support Ends Tomorrow — But You Can Still Get Another Year for Free

Heads up! Windows 10 support is ending October 14, 2025. What this means is Microsoft will stop sending free security updates or giving support if things break. Your computer won't explode, but it will be a virus magnet. Still on Windows 10? Here's what you can do:

*   Go to Windows 11 (if your computer can handle it – it's free!)

*   Grab a new computer with Windows 11 (or go Mac or Chrome!)

*   Get Microsoft's Extended Security Updates (ESU) to keep Windows 10 safe for another year.

Let's talk about that third thing – ESU. A lot of people get it free, and it's an easy way to keep using your current computer without worrying about updating.

**So, What's ESU All About?**

The ESU thing is like a bodyguard. It gives vital security-related updates for Windows 10 (version 22H2) until October 13, 2026. Even though normal support finishes, you're protected from new risks. Just so you know, you won't get new features or speed boosts, just the security-related stuff.

Originally, Microsoft was gonna charge for this, but now you can often get it at no cost (especially in the U.S. or Europe). You get a year to use Windows 10 safely while you work out what to do next.

**How to Get ESU: The Short Version**

**Step 1: Update Your PC**

You must use Windows 10, version 22H2. To check:

*   Go to Settings > System > About

*   Check your Windows version

If you're not on 22H2, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and install what's available.

This is important. ESU works only on version 22H2.

**Step 2: Admin Log-In**

You need admin rights to sign up. To check:

*   Go to Settings > Accounts > Your Info

*   You should see “Administrator” under your name

If you don’t have admin, switch accounts or get the admin's help.

**Step 3: Check Windows 11**

Microsoft wants you on Windows 11 if it works. To check:

*   Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update

*   If you find a Windows 11 option, go for it if you want.

If not, do the actions below for ESU.

**Step 4: Sign Up for ESU**

*   Go to Settings > Update & Security

*   Look for an “Enroll Now” deal for ESU

*   Click it!

If you don’t find the link, check Windows version 22H2 and restart.

**Step 5: Pick your thing**

Microsoft shows two ways:

**Thing A: Cloud Backup (Free)**

It's free, but you must connect your Windows account to Microsoft’s cloud. You probably already do if you're using:

*   Copilot

*   Office 365

*   Game Pass

*   OneDrive

If you want a local account, you'll need to jump in.

*The free backup is only 5 GB. So:*

*   Go to Settings > OneDrive and take out Documents, Pictures, and Videos

After you're logged in, a window will say “Add this device to receive Extended Security Updates.” Click Add Device, then Done.

**Thing B: Pay for it**

If you don't like the cloud, pay for sign-up. Good deal for biz or local setup.

**Location-Specific Stuff**

*   U.S. peeps: Free with cloud backup (5 GB max)

*   European peeps: Free, no cloud needed

*   Other peeps: Check Microsoft’s ESU page for details.

**Why is Windows 10 going away?**

Windows 10 was released in 2015 and stayed around for a long while. Microsoft wants everyone to just use Windows 11 as it’s safer, quicker, and deals with new tech nice. Ending Windows 10 means they can focus on Windows 11.

A lot of people still think Windows 10 is fine, for example, on older computers. ESU keeps it safe until there's an update.

**What Then?**

The ESU thing runs until October 13, 2026. After that:

*   Update to Windows 11 (if you can)

*   Buy a new PC

*   Find another OS (like Linux or ChromeOS)

Watch the news for more.

**To sum up:**

If you don't want to update, ESU is keeping Windows 10 safe for another year. It’s easy to sign-up, and it sets up quick if you do what this wrote. If you get new computers and you have Windows 10 still hanging around, ESU might be something you can use.

2.Microsoft’s Windows Media Creation Tool Fails Right Before Windows 10’s End of Life

FYI! Microsoft messed up the Media Creation Tool before Windows 10 support ends.

So, Windows 10 is almost done, and Microsoft made a mistake. They said that the Windows Media Creation Tool (MCT) has a problem and it can mess up upgrades for a lot of people. The bad version 26100.6584 of the Windows 11 MCT came out on September 29, 2025. It might just close with no warning.

This is a pain because Windows 10 stops getting free security patches on October 14, 2025. People need to switch to Windows 11, pay for Extended Security Updates (ESU), or use a different operating system altogether. If you were planning to install Windows 11 using the MCT, this issue is annoying.

What's the Media Creation Tool?

The Media Creation Tool is like Microsoft's assistant. It lets you create USB drives or DVDs that can start your PC. You can use them to reinstall Windows 11 or do a fresh install on any device. It's useful for people who want a clean install or need to update many devices without waiting for regular updates.

But now, Microsoft says the newest version might not be correct on Windows 10 devices. It might just crash, leaving you confused and unable to install anything.

Who Will Have Issues?

Microsoft mentioned that Windows 10 users are most at risk, mostly with Arm64 processors. The Windows 11 MCT does not even function on those systems now. So, if you have an Arm-based device, you'll have to find another way to install.

Even if you have an x64 system, you might have issues if you try to run the tool from Windows 10. This is unfortunate if you were planning to upgrade right before the October 14 deadline.

Microsoft's Quick Solution

Luckily, Microsoft has a short fix. Jump over the Media Creation Tool and get the Windows 11 ISO file from Microsoft's website. This is what to do:

Go to the Windows 11 page to find the download.

Seek the Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) part.

Pick the correct version for your PC:

x64 devices: Get the regular ISO.

Arm64 devices: Use the Arm64 link.

After the download, use a tool like Rufus to create a bootable USB drive and install.

A Real Solution Is Incoming

Microsoft said that they are fixing it, it will be in a future update to the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool. They'll update the page when it's done. Until then, use the ISO download way to avoid issues.

Windows 10 Support Ends: What That Means

After October 14, 2025, Windows 10 won't get free security updates anymore. That's it for main support for the OS that began in 2015. Now you have three options:

Upgrade to Windows 11 (free if your PC is compatible).

Pay for Extended Security Updates (ESU) to keep getting security patches.

Move to another OS like macOS, ChromeOS, or Linux.

The ESU program gives you one more year of security updates for Windows 10 version 22H2. Microsoft is giving it to many users, mostly in the U.S. and Europe, but you might have to link your account to Microsoft's services.

3.Apple Has at Least 10 New Devices on the Way, Leak Claims

🍎 Apple's Winter/Spring Plans: What's Next?

So, Apple's got some cool stuff planned from now until early 2026. People are chatting about the M5 MacBook Pro, a fresh iPad Pro, and the Vision Pro. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg hinted we’ll see updates to Macs, iPads, and their smart home devices.

Gurman's newsletter and some filings suggest these are coming. Here's the gist:

🚀 New Gear Alert: M5 MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro?

Apple could release these anytime:

*   M5 MacBook Pro (14-inch): The regular one has Apple’s M5 chip. Should be fast and have good battery.

*   M5 iPad Pro: Some showed it with the M5 chip and 12GB of RAM. Maybe it’s for Apple Intelligence.

*   Apple Vision Pro 2: This mixed reality thing should have clearer pictures and run smoother.

Rumor is, they’ll just drop these with some press releases and videos – no big event, which is weird for Apple.

💻 On the Way: M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro

*   M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro: Expect these in early 2026. The chips inside will be really strong for those who need it.

Think better graphics, better cooling, and maybe more memory.

📍 AirTag 2: Easier to Find Stuff

Everyone’s talking about an AirTag 2. Here’s what *could* be different:

*   A new U2 chip for better tracking.

*   Maybe better battery and more privacy.

*   It’ll play nice with Find My and Apple Intelligence.

📺 Apple TV 4K: The Next Streaming Box

Apple’s making a new Apple TV 4K:

*   A faster chip and more memory for a smoother feel.

*   Apple Intelligence should work well with tvOS.

*   Smarter smart home tricks and a better Siri.

🔊 HomePod mini 2: Good Sound, Smart Siri

The HomePod mini 2 *might* have:

*   Good tunes, especially the bass.

*   A better chip for a faster Siri.

*   Maybe sensors for room temp or where it is.

📱 iPhone 17e: A Small Upgrade

The next cheaper iPhone, the 17e, might get:

*   The A19 chip for more power and better battery.

*   A C1X 5G modem for faster internet.

*   It’ll probably look like the iPhone 16e to save money.

📱 New Basic iPad: AI for (Almost) Everyone

Apple’s got a new basic iPad coming:

*   Probably a faster chip for better graphics.

*   Ready for Apple Intelligence, so even the cheaper iPads get AI.

*   This could be great for students because of the improved multitasking.

✈️ M4 iPad Air: A Little More

The M4 iPad Air is coming too:

*   Uses the M4 chip, obviously.

*   Probably no big changes to how it looks.

*   It’s for those who want a bit more power but don’t want to spend a lot on the Pro.

🖥️ Monitors: Studio Display Update

Apple’s supposedly working on two new displays:

*   One will probably be a 5K 27-inch (miniLED) Studio Display.

*   It should look sharp with good colors and smooth pictures.

*   Might even use Apple silicon to make Mac stuff better.

💻 M5 MacBook Air: Light and Powerful

Soon after the MacBook Pro, Apple might drop the M5 MacBook Air:

*   Even thinner and uses the M5 chip.

*   Better battery and cooling.

*   This could show up in spring 2026, good for students and those always on the go.

🧠 Apple Intelligence Is Here

Apple’s planning to put Apple Intelligence into everything – AI helpers for everyday things, like a smarter Siri that can almost guess what you want. Here's hoping Apple Intelligence makes their devices awesome.

🗓️ When?

Apple can release this stuff whenever they want, according to Gurman. They can switch things up because of supply issues, market changes, and what other companies are doing.

Instead of one big release, Apple seems to be spreading things out to keep everyone interested.

🧭 So What’s Up?

Apple’s coming releases are a mix of familiar and improved stuff. Some, like the M5 MacBook Pro and Vision Pro, are big deals, while others, like the AirTag 2 and HomePod mini 2, are small changes. Apple Intelligence wants to make tech genuinely helpful. Whether you're a pro, a student, or like smart homes, Apple *might* get your attention. Check out Apple Newsroom and YouTube soon – expect stuff to come out fast!

4,Microsoft Loosens Restrictions: Even Unsupported PCs Can Get Windows 11 for Free

Wanna put Windows 11 on your old Windows 10 computer? Cool! I'll tell you how without getting too technical.

Quick note: Microsoft is ending updates and help for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After that, you won't get free security updates. Using a system without support is a bad idea – it leaves you open to all sorts of problems.

The good news is, a lot of Windows 10 computers can handle Windows 11 just fine. The bad news? Some can't. But don't panic! You might still get Windows 11 to work, even if your computer isn't a perfect fit.

Usually, if your computer is less than six years old, you're good. So, how do you know for sure? Let's check it out.

**🛠️ Step 1: Use the PC Health Check**

The easiest way to check is with the PC Health Check app from Microsoft. It'll tell you yes or no.

Here's how:

*   Press the Windows key. Type Health Check.

*   If it shows up, great! If not, grab it from Microsoft's site.

*   Open the app and run it.

*   See what it says. It might mention Secure Boot or TPM 2.0. Don't worry. You can usually turn these on in your computer's settings. But pay attention if it talks about your processor or CPU. If it does, you *can* still install Windows – but Microsoft won't help you if things go wrong.

**🔍 Step 2: Check Secure Boot and TPM – the Detailed Way**

For a more detailed look at Secure Boot and TPM:

*   Press the Windows key and the R key together (Windows + R). A window will show up. Type msinfo32 and press Enter. This opens System Information.

*   Then, find:

    *   System Type: It should say x64-based PC. If not, you can't use the 64-bit version of Windows.

    *   BIOS Mode: It needs to say UEFI.

    *   Secure Boot State: It should say Enabled. If it's Off, you might be able to turn it on.

*   Next, check TPM. Press Windows + R again. Type tpm.msc and press Enter. You'll see TPM info and a version number (TPM 2.0 is better). If it all looks good, you're in good shape. What if it can't find TPM? Enable it in your computer's start-up settings. I'll show you how in the next step.

**⚙️ Step 3: Go into Settings and Turn Stuff On**

Getting into settings is different for everyone, since every computer is different. Usually, you press the Delete key, F2, or Esc key a bunch while the computer is starting up. If you can't get in, search on Google for [your computer model] access settings – that should do the trick.

Once you're in settings:

✅ **Switch to UEFI**

*   Find something like Boot Mode or BIOS Mode.

*   Change it from Legacy to UEFI.

*   Save and restart.

✅ **Turn on Secure Boot**

*   Find Security or Boot options.

*   Find Secure Boot and turn it on.

*   Save and restart.

✅ **Turn on TPM**

*   Find TPM, Intel PTT, or AMD fTPM.

*   Turn it on and save!

If you don't see some of these, your computer might not support them, but double-check anyway.

**🧱 Step 4: Reinstall Windows (For Tech People)**

If your CPU isn't supported, but Secure Boot and TPM are working, think about reinstalling Windows 11. This can sometimes solve the CPU problem.

WARNING! If you do this, you HAVE to:

*   **Back up EVERYTHING!** You'll need it if something goes wrong.

*   Get a USB drive to start from. You can make one with the Windows 11 tool from Microsoft.

*   Start from the USB drive. This starts a fresh Windows install.

Just so you know: Microsoft doesn't really advise this. You might also have to edit the Windows Registry. If you're not tech-savvy, don't try this.

**🧩 Step 5: Add a TPM thing (You'll Have to Buy One)**

If you don't have TPM, see if your computer has a spot for a TPM thing. Some stores sell these.

*   Search Google for [your computer model] TPM thing.

*   If you find one that works, install it using the instructions.

*   After that, turn on TPM in the settings, like I explained before.

Important: not all computers let you do this. Read your computer's instructions first.

**✔️ Step 6: Check and Update**

After setting up UEFI, Secure Boot, and TPM:

*   Run the PC Health Check app again.

*   If you're lucky, it'll say Good to go!

*   Then, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

*   Find Windows 11 on the list.

*   If it's not there, grab the Installation Assistant from Microsoft to switch.

Fingers crossed it works out for you! Good luck!

5.Samsung Bixby Is Getting a Fresh New Look in One UI 8.5

**Samsung One UI 8 & 8.5: What's Coming to Your Galaxy Phone & Bixby**

Samsung is sending out One UI 8 (Android 16) to Galaxy phones to make them look and run better. Bixby isn't going away for Google Gemini. It's getting better.

Gemini works as the main assistant on fresh phones, but Bixby is still sticking around for devices and making things automatic. One UI 8.5 is coming to give Bixby a new look and make it better. Samsung wants you to have both.

**Bixby Gets an Upgrade:**

Version 8.5 gives Bixby a fresh design, with a nice new window to look at. It tries to respond faster too and wants to be easier to use.

Updates will change a bit based on where you are, mostly for the voice assistants.

**To sum up:**

The One UI 8 and 8.5 updates are focused on linking AI, making things run automatically, and making phones easy to use. The Bixby changes show it’s getting attention from Samsung. If you're using a Galaxy A, Tab S8, or Watch 7, get ready for quicker responses, solid safety, and a more custom setup. One UI 8.5 will only get better.

6.Apple Launches iOS 26.1 Beta 3 — Here’s What’s New

Alright, here's the scoop on what Apple is up to. They're cooking up iOS 26.1, and it should be out around late October or early November next year. The developer beta 3 is already out, which testers are using to find any errors in the system. So, basically, this whole version is about fixing the errors that came up in iOS 26. iOS 26 had some problems, so 26.1 is trying to fix them so that your phone isn't annoying.

They really want to get rid of those weird glitches that lots of iPhone users have seen in iOS 26. Think of it as giving your iPhone a good cleaning, like getting rid of junk.

**Apple Intelligence goes worldwide**

Listen to this: Apple Intelligence is becoming smarter by learning a couple of languages. When the update is released, it will be able to get what you mean, get suggestions, and speak in:

*   Chinese (Traditional)

*   Danish

*   Dutch

*   Norwegian

*   Portuguese (Portugal)

*   Swedish

*   Turkish

*   Vietnamese

In other words, Apple is trying to teach its AI program more languages. The purpose of this is for the program to give improved ideas and understand what you are trying to say.

**Your AirPods are multilingual!**

Guess what? Your AirPods are also getting better with language, with help for Live Translation. Right now, it works on AirPods Pro 2, but it's heading to AirPods Pro 3 (when people can buy the item) and AirPods 4.

Once iOS 26.1 is ready, Live Translation should help people in conversation. They will be adding these languages:

*   Chinese (Mandarin, Simplified and Traditional)

*   Italian

*   Japanese

*   Korean

And don't worry, you'll be able to keep using English (US and UK), French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Spain).

**Alarm clocks are getting a change**

Apple is changing the alarm clock a bit. Instead of tapping the snooze button, you'll now swipe to snooze or shut it off. It appears that Apple thinks it will help stop people from turning off the alarm when they are not fully awake. It's a small change to the alarm clock, but many people find that they enjoy the new version from Apple.

The design of the alarm clock looks like the lock screen, so people will find this version easy to learn.

**Music lovers and playlist streamers, it's time to swipe!**

Apple's offering the option to swipe to skip tracks in the Music application. If you enjoy taking control of your music, especially if you are listening to long playlists, this addition will make it easier.

Many people seem to enjoy the new small features.

**Anything hidden?**

Apple isn't talking about all of their ideas, but some beta testers have found these small things:

*   Applications might open quicker.

*   Battery life could be long lasting.

*   It's easier to control application permissions.

*   The look of the Settings application and Control Center could be different.

Just like other updates, iOS 26.1 will clean up problems and ensure the system is running as intended.

**Beta information**

At the moment, application creators are using the iOS 26.1 beta, whose purpose is to find errors and solve them.

If you are trying to be a part of the beta program you may be able to join. Go to Settings, select General, and Software Update on your phone. It might be a good idea to load it on your alternative device first, because betas can have some errors.

**When will iOS 26.1 come out?**

Apple schedules releases in an orderly fashion, so if the schedule continues, iOS 26.1 should start in late October or early November the following year. The phones that run iOS 26, such as the iPhone 15 models and newer, will contain the update.

7.Microsoft Refutes Claims That Target and Walmart Pulled Xbox Products from Shelves

Microsoft says the stories about Xbox consoles being pulled from stores are just not true, even with a Game Pass price increase.

It all started when people noticed that Costco stopped selling Xbox Series X and S consoles, both online and in their stores. This led to worries that other retailers like Target and Walmart might do the same.

Some folks online even posted photos that seemed to show fewer Xbox consoles on shelves, making it look like Xbox was disappearing from stores. But Microsoft quickly stepped in to shut down these rumors.

A Microsoft representative told Windows Central, Target and Walmart, among other stores, are still committed to selling Xbox consoles, accessories, and games.

Basically, Microsoft wants everyone to know that Xbox is still going strong in stores, in spite of changes in prices and what they're focusing on.

Why did these rumors start?

Well, the main reason was probably Costco's decision to stop selling Xbox consoles. Since Costco didn't say why they did this, some people figured other retailers might be doing the same.

Then, social media got involved, and people started sharing photos of empty shelves, suggesting that Xbox was being removed from stores. This happened right around the same time as two important things:

The prices of Xbox consoles and accessories went up.

The monthly cost of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate went up quite a bit.

These things made some people think that stores were trying to distance themselves from Xbox because sales were down or because they had other priorities.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Gets More Expensive

To make matters worse, Microsoft also announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate would cost more. The monthly price went up from-

$19.99 to $29.99 in the United States

£14.99 to £22.99 in the UK

This is one of the biggest price increases ever for the service. Microsoft said they were raising the price because they were adding more stuff to the Ultimate tier, like:

Fortnite Crew membership (worth $11.99 a month)

Ubisoft+ Classics (worth $7.99 a month)

Better Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming

Access to over 75 brand new games each year, including big titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

While some gamers might like the extra stuff, the price increase has made some casual players and people on a budget upset.

Is it a new plan or just a misunderstanding?

Microsoft's response to the store rumors seems to suggest that they're not giving up on selling consoles in stores but are changing their plan. By adding cool stuff to Game Pass Ultimate and pushing cloud gaming, they might be heading toward a future where digital games are more important than physical consoles.

But Microsoft still has strong relationships with stores. Target and Walmart are still selling Xbox consoles and accessories, and there's no official sign that other big stores are planning to stop selling Xbox stuff.

It's possible that Costco's decision is just about managing what they have in stock or a short-term change in focus, rather than a sign of a larger problem.

What's coming up for Xbox?

Even with the rumors and price changes, Xbox is still a big deal in gaming. Microsoft is putting a lot of money into cloud gaming, exclusive games, and subscription services. The upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and other new games on Game Pass will probably get a lot of people interested and make the higher subscription price worth it for many.

While you might see Xbox consoles come and go from store shelves, Microsoft seems dedicated to its console platform and its partnerships with big retailers.

8.Google’s Powerful AI Image Editor Expands to Search, Photos, and NotebookLM

## Google's Quirky Nano Banana AI Image Editor is Here!

Remember that AI image editor Google's been working on? They call it Nano Banana, and after trying it out on a ton of images, it's finally ready for everyone! It started as just a test thing for developers, but now it's going to be a big part of how Google wants us to play around with pictures. Nano Banana is now popping up in Google Search, Google Photos, and even NotebookLM, which means a lot more people can now easily edit photos with just a few simple words.

This is Google trying to make AI something everyone can use all the time. Whether you're taking photos, writing notes, or trying to keep memories safe, Nano Banana wants to make making things easier and more fun.

Imagine a world where editing photos is as simple as having a conversation. That's the goal that Google is reaching with its new tool, Nano Banana. By integrating this AI-powered image editor into Google Search, Google Photos, and NotebookLM, Google is providing user friendly creative tools that can be used by anyone, regardless of professional experience.

📸 **Nano Banana Comes to Google Search Through Lens**

One of the coolest parts is how Nano Banana is coming to Google Search, especially through the Lens app. If you have an iPhone or Android, you can use Lens, take a picture, and start telling it what to do. Soon, there will be a Create button (with a banana icon, of course!) at the bottom.

Tap that button, and you're in the Nano Banana editor. Just tell it what you want to change. Want the background brighter? Need to get rid of something in the way? Or maybe you want to add something totally different? Just type it in! The AI will come up with something and give you other options.

It should feel like you're talking to a creative friend, not just using some boring photo editor. You can keep changing things until it looks just how you want it to.

🧠 **Gemini Steps Aside: It's Everywhere Now**

Even though Nano Banana first showed up in Gemini, it's now in Search, so you don't have to go to Gemini to use it. In AI Mode, you can pick the Create image tool, type in what you want, and see the AI make something new. From there, just keep talking to make it even better.

This shows Google wants AI to be part of what they do, putting those cool tools right where people already spend their time.

📓 **NotebookLM Gets a New Look**

NotebookLM, Google's AI helper for notes and research, is also getting some Nano Banana love – but a little differently. Instead of changing pictures, Nano Banana is giving NotebookLM's video overview a bunch of new styles.

Before, NotebookLM could make videos that explained your notes. Now, you can pick between Explainer and a new Brief style, for a faster summary. Plus, Nano Banana is adding some visual styles:

*   Whiteboard

*   Anime

*   Retro Print

*   The original Classic style

The AI helps make the video, so it might not always do exactly what you want. But Nano Banana should make things look better. It helps you guide the feel of your videos, making NotebookLM more useful for making quick presentations. This addition means that you will get more of a fun experience as you get all the information you need, without having to watch long videos like normal. The videos are short and concise, and they have a personality now as well.

🖼️ **Google Photos: Talking to Edit is Getting Good**

Google Photos is also getting Nano Banana, but we don't know exactly when. Not to long ago, Google Photos added a talking edit thing that lets you fix your pictures with simple English. But that one didn't have Nano Banana – which testers liked because it was fast and made good photos when it got a summer update.

Google says Nano Banana will be in Photos soon. When it is, it should make talking edits way better: faster, more what you wanted. It is expected to have great value, and make the whole app experience more complete for users. You can just say things like remove the haze, make the sky prettier, or add an old style, and get results that feel like what you were hoping for.

🚀 **Why Should You Pay Attention to Nano Banana?**

Nano Banana loves AI creativity. Normal image editors make you mess with settings, but Nano Banana lets you just say what you want and then see it happen. It's almost like anyone can edit pictures – like having a friendly chat right inside Google stuff.

With Nano Banana going into Search, Photos, and NotebookLM, it's not just for developers anymore. Millions of people can use it every day to get some fun ideas, make their pictures better, and share their thoughts easier. This will change the way people interact online, and in the world in general. Making a visual idea reality will become easier than ever. All you have to do is ask.

🧭 **Final Thoughts**

Google's Nano Banana might have a funny name, but it's a cool AI tool that's going to change how we play with pictures and videos. Putting it in apps we use all the time, like Lens, Photos, and NotebookLM, Google is bringing editing to people easily.

As this shows up everywhere, expect Nano Banana to be a big part of Google's AI plans that could change the way we make and share stuff we see. You might just be a normal person or a skilled artist, your image editing is just a request away.

Having the technology to do this will give way to new ideas and visual messages from the people, and everyone will benefit from it.

Nano Banana is a game-changer in the world of digital media. Its integration into popular Google applications signifies a shift towards more user-friendly and accessible AI. Whether you're a professional content creator or someone who just enjoys sharing photos with friends, Nano Banana offers a way to amplify your visual communication.

9.TEKKEN 8 Dominates Evo France With Armor King’s Return and Miary Zo Reveal

Hey, Tekken players!

Evo France 2025 was insane because of all the Tekken 8 reveals! Bandai Namco just showed off what they've been cooking up, and people went crazy when they saw what's coming.

From what I can tell, the team's been keeping up with what players have been saying, so they're trying to even things out. The big news is Season 2 – we're getting two new fighters!

Armor King, who everyone loves playing, is coming back. Honestly, people have been asking for him since the game came out, so it's cool that the Tekken team is listening to us fans. We're also getting Miary Zo, a brand new character who's from Madagascar and practices Morengy. I think she is going to be interesting to play as.

Tekken 8 is already great on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Season 2 should really turn things upside down – in a good way, of course.

**Armor King is Back in the Game!**

You heard that right. Armor King is stepping back into the ring. Everyone was hoping he'd come back, and the Tekken crew delivered. If you get the Season 2 Character Pass, you'll be able to play him as soon as he's ready. If you're not interested in buying the season pass, he will be available to buy on his own, starting October 16, 2025.

Basically, he's back to get back at someone for hurting his brother. He tried to stop G Corp during the King of Iron Fist Tournament, and now he wants them to pay.

His fighting style should feel pretty familiar if you've played Tekken before. He will most likely have a similar feel to his brother. People who have been playing for a long time should be able to pick him up without any problems.

**Meet Miary Zo from Madagascar**

Miary Zo definitely got everyone talking. She's got me interested in Season 2. I can't wait to see what she's all about. The martial art, Morengy, that she's using comes from Madagascar. It's going to be amazing to see a fighting style that the game's never showed us before.

If you have the Season Pass, you'll be able to play her on December 2, 2025, or you can purchase her alone on December 5, 2025.

**Here's Baobab Horizon!**

Turns out, there's even more to see! It's not just Miary Zo that's from Madagascar, because we're also getting a new stage set there called Baobab Horizon. I think it will be a great match for Miary Zo because of the trees and the native animals on this stage.

You get Baobab Horizon right away if you buy the Year 2 Character & Stage Pass. Still, you can get it separately if you want!

**New Personalities in Tekken**

It's been a while since Tekken had a totally new character if you really stop and think about it. Maybe since Tekken 4? By adding countries, different cultures, and personal stories, I have a feeling that Bandai Namco wants to get more people hooked on the game. Many of the new characters connect to older ones. Therefore, this is something different.

Tekken fans will enjoy the return of Armor King. To get people excited, Miary Zo is something completely new.

**What's the Smartest Decision?**

You're probably in one of two categories: either you want to start playing Tekken, or you already do. I'd say buy the Season 2 Character Pass right now. Then you'll get Armor King, Miary Zo, and the new stage whenever they're released.

The Season 2 Character Pass might seem a little expensive. It's cool that you can buy each character by themselves. Armor King comes out on October 16, and Miary Zo is coming on December 5.

**Do You Need More Details?**

Go over to Tekken.com and check out the Miary Zo trailer. You'll also find all the Tekken 8 fighter introductions there.

**To Finish Up**

This update sounds awesome for Tekken 8. Everyone's pumped about Armor King's return, and it sounds like Miary Zo is going to spice up the game.

Season 2 of Tekken 8 is right around the corner, so get ready for your next fight!

10.Microsoft Tightens Security on IE Mode After Hackers Exploit Legacy Feature

Microsoft's been tweaking its Edge browser, mainly how it handles Internet Explorer mode. Word is, some hackers were using IE mode as a secret door to get into people's computers. The security folks at Microsoft, the Browser Vulnerability Research group, thought something was up and decided to jump in.

They want to keep IE mode around for the people who still need it, but they want to make it way harder for the bad guys to mess with it. Basically, they're trying to make it tough to accidentally switch over to IE mode, which should stop a lot of the old ways of attacking.

**How Were the Hackers Getting In?**

These hackers were tricking people into going to shady sites that used old problems in Internet Explorer's Chakra JavaScript engine. Here's how it worked:

1.  **The Trap:** You'd end up on a website that seemed safe. It would be totally believable at first.

2.  **The Switch:** A window would pop up, asking you to reload the page in IE mode. It might say something like, This page needs IE mode to work right. It’s the kind of thing you might see on an older website that hasn’t been updated, so it doesn’t seem too weird.

3.  **The Attack:** If you press the reload button in IE mode, the hackers would sneak their code in and run it on your computer. After that, they'd sneak past the browser's protection and take total control of your computer. It's like walking into a bank and finding out the back door is wide open.

IE mode isn't as secure as regular Edge because it uses older technology. That makes it easy for attackers to sneak past all the new safety features. Once they get in, they can put malware on your computer, look through your things, and grab your info. Imagine someone robbing your house and taking everything.

**Why Does IE Mode Still Exist?**

Edge has IE mode so people can still open old websites and programs that were made for Internet Explorer. Many companies still use tools that haven't been updated for newer browsers. So, IE mode is like a stand-in for now. They haven't updated programs but still need to use them.

But here's the thing: IE mode isn't as safe, which is good for criminals. This recent attack shows how dangerous it can be if you're not careful. Think of it as driving an old car without seatbelts, it works, but it's not the safest option.

**Microsoft's Fix: Making It Harder to Use on Accident**

To deal with this, Microsoft is making it tough to accidentally go into IE mode:

*   **No More Quick Button:** They got rid of the IE mode button from the toolbar. It was too easy to click without thinking. It's like taking away candy from a kid so they don't eat too much.

*   **No Right-Click Option:** You can't right-click on a page and tell it to reload in IE mode. Now you have to go through more steps.

*   **Hidden Menu Trick:** The option to switch to IE mode from the browser menu is hidden or gone. This is not something they want you doing easily.

By cutting out these simple ways to switch, it's tough for scammers to trick people into using IE mode without knowing. Before, you could stumble in there - now you have to go looking for it.

**What If You Really Need IE Mode?**

If you have to use IE mode, you can still turn it on, but you have to do it in the Edge settings:

1.  Go to Edge Settings.

2.  Click on Default browser.

3.  Turn on the option that says, Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode.

4.  Manually add the websites that need IE mode to the list of approved sites.

5.  Hit the reload button on the website.

By setting it up this way, you're only running IE mode when you need to, and only for certain websites.

**The Overall Plan**

Microsoft's trying to make sure that using old methods is an intentional choice. By putting up barriers around IE mode, they're hoping to make it tough for criminals to get in.

Making people turn on and set up IE mode makes things trickier for those bad actors.

**Things We Don't Know**

Microsoft has shared some info about the attack, but they haven't told us everything:

*   The exact details of the problems in Chakra.

*   Who the attackers are or where they came from.

*   How much damage was done.

It's normal to keep some things secret while there's still an investigation.

**Main Takeaway**

Microsoft's changes to IE mode show their plan to deal with old technology and today's security needs. The older the online systems will always be an opening for criminals.

The active setup of IE mode is something they are doing on the side to help promote a safer browsing environment.

The best idea is to not use IE mode if you don't need it, and to think about updating old programs to supported versions.

This change shows a proactive attitude to online protection,

11.Final Chapter Approaches: The Copper Cape Quest Is Almost Complete

Hey everyone!

Remember when copper was first introduced to Minecraft? The copper golem vote was super popular, and then people started building those crazy item sorters. Good times. Well, guess what? They’re adding a Copper Cape to the game! So, for redstone builders, fans of the copper golem, or anyone who likes to look cool, this is something for you all.

The Minecraft community blew everyone away by voting to build over 75 million copper golems and sorting around 500 million items. Isn't that insane? To close out this Copper Challenge, let's try to get that cape. Here is how you get it.

🏆 **How to Get Your Copper Cape:**

Minecraft is a game about dreaming, right? That’s why you can get the Copper Cape in a couple of ways! It doesn’t matter if you’re playing every day, watching streams, or going to conventions. They made it so everyone has a chance. So it benefits a large sum of the community.

1.  **🗿 Build a Copper Golem Statue (Bedrock Edition)**

    The easiest way to nab this cape is to construct a copper golem statue in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. This is for a limted time, so from October 13th at 8 AM PDT to October 20th at 10 AM PDT in 2025. After that, it will be too late.

    Here is what you do:

    *   **Survival Mode:** Wait for your copper golem to turn into a statue by oxidizing. After that, break it and put it back, that's all!

    *   **Creative Mode:** Find a copper golem statue in your inventory and place it somewhere. Quick and easy.

    Once you place the statue, that's it! The Copper Cape should appear in your Dressing Room by October 31st, 2025. So keep an eye out!

2.  **📺 Watch Minecraft on TikTok or Twitch**

    Do you like hanging out and watching some funny videos? If so, this might be for you! Would you like a Copper Cape without putting in much work? Just watch Minecraft on TikTok or Twitch.

    *   **TikTok:** You need three minutes of watching Minecraft streams that have Game Rewards turned on.

    *   **Twitch:** Watch any Minecraft stream from a Twitch Partner or Affiliate for five minutes. Watch while you are relaxing or doing nothing.

    For doing this, you will get a code for the cape! Then, go to [minecraft.net/redeem](http://minecraft.net/redeem) and type in your code for the cape by November 19th, 2025. So write that down!

    If you watch these streams, you get to help smaller Minecraft streamers. You get to support your favorite streamers by doing this. Plus, you will get that new cape.

3.  **🎉 Going to TwitchCon San Diego?**

    Are you planning to attend TwitchCon in San Diego on October 17th – 19th, 2025? Cool, you can get a Copper Cape code there. Search for the Minecraft booth so you can get a code.

    Once you get that code, go to [minecraft.net/redeem](http://minecraft.net/redeem) and type it in, it needs to be done by November 19th, 2025. It’s way easier to meet other Minecraft fans when you are at events.

🎁 **Goodies!**

There are extra gifts for people who did things previously!

*   A Copper Golem-themed Plushie and Slippers for your Dressing Room

*   The Copper Welder Skin for Java Edition players

Thank you for all the work everyone has done! If you have not claimed these extras, look for them in your Dressing Room. If you are on Java, look for the skin in your inventory.

🧱 **Why Copper?**

Copper is unique since it can be used for lightning rods. It also makes things look old. The Community voted to build the Copper Golem, which shows the community's ideas and the style they want.

The Copper Cape stands for the community and looks cool. If you are building statues, watching the stream, or attending the event, remember the community wanted you to join them in Minecraft.

⏳ **Dates to Remember!**

Here are some dates to look out for:

*   **Challenge Start:** October 13th at 8 AM PDT and ends October 20th at 10 AM PDT, 2025

*   **When you get the cape:** October 31st, 2025

*   **When the codes won’t work anymore:** November 19th, 2025

Try to finish by then, or you may miss out.

🧡 **In Conclusion**

Copper shows what the game represents. You can dream and celebrate things. You can be happy with the community if you build statues, watch the streams, or go to a convention.

12.Microsoft Develops Its Own AI Image Generator, Built Entirely In-House

Microsoft is now officially in the text-to-image game, having come out with MAI-Image-1. This is their first image-creating model that they built completely from scratch. This is big news for Microsoft's game plan, since they're trying to put together a whole collection of AI models under their own name.

They call MAI-Image-1 the next step for them, and it joins other Microsoft AI stuff like the MAI-Voice-1 voice maker and the MAI-1-preview chatbot. This new image thing is supposed to pump out super realistic pictures quickly and accurately, and people in the AI world are already talking about it.

Microsoft said that they created MAI-Image-1 with feedback from people who work in creative fields so that it wouldn't fall into the trap of churning out the same old boring images that a lot of image generators do. It's designed to be good at making realistic-looking scenes--like lightning, nature, and buildings--and it's supposed to give you great results without being as slow as other, bigger models.

Apparently, MAI-Image-1 can take your prompt and make an image faster than many of its competitors. This is great if you're a designer, marketer, or developer in need of something fast.

MAI-Image-1 is already in the top 10 on LMArena, which is a site where people can choose which AI system is best. People vote on things like image quality and how real it looks. The fact that MAI-Image-1 is doing so well early on suggests that it can hold its own against models that have been around longer.

The launch of MAI-Image-1 shows Microsoft's eagerness in the AI business, especially since the company is shifting from being a big investor in other AI companies to coming up with its own, competitive models.

Microsoft invested early in OpenAI. But the relationship between the two has become more complicated with time.

Microsoft has started using Anthropic's AI models in some Microsoft 365 features, which shows that they're spreading out their AI partnerships a bit. At the same time, they're putting a bunch of money into training their own models, like MAI-Image-1, in order to gain more control over their AI setup.

This kind of move is becoming more common among tech giants. They want to rely less on other companies and come up with their own stuff that's made specifically for their platforms and users.

Microsoft says they're serious about the safety and responsibility of their AI. They are putting safety measures in place to make sure the model makes good and ethical content.

We don't know the details of these safety steps yet, but Microsoft says they'll share more once the model is ready for more people to test. Making sure that these models don't create harmful, misleading, or unfair content is a big deal for all the major AI companies.

Microsoft hasn't said when MAI-Image-1 will be available to the public or when it will make its way into things that consumers use.

As Microsoft works to improve its AI stuff, MAI-Image-1 could become a key part of the company's creative and productivity platforms, maybe even popping up in things like Designer, PowerPoint, or Copilot.

All in all, MAI-Image-1 is a big move for Microsoft AI. By creating its own text-to-image generator, Microsoft is showing that it wants to be a leader in the AI world--not just by working with other companies, but by making new things itself.

13.Apple Teases Upcoming M5 MacBook Ahead of Official Reveal

Here's the deal with Apple: A new MacBook Pro is likely coming out soon, and everyone thinks it will have the M5 chip.

Apple's being secretive, but it sure seems like a new MacBook is coming. People are pretty sure it'll pack the M5 chip. What's the story? Well, Greg Joswiak, Apple's marketing boss, posted something weird on X (Twitter). It was just like, Mmmmm…, with a bunch of Ms and a coming soon. The video even looked like a laptop shaped kind of like a five. Get it? M5!

This teaser has got everyone online guessing. And things got more interesting when Mark Gurman, the Bloomberg insider, said Apple's planning to drop a standard MacBook Pro with the M5 chip soon. Looks like Jozwiak wasn't kidding.

But here's the thing: the M5 isn't exactly a secret.

Apple's amazing at these games. Jozwiak's post just screams Apple marketing, right? The Mmmmm thing? They're practically telling us it's the M5 chip. That laptop V shape? It's clearly supposed to be a number 5. Oh, and the Apple logo flashed really quick in the video.

Even though Apple hasn't said anything officially, it seems like we're getting a 14-inch MacBook Pro. Gurman says this new one will be the first with the M5 chip. People are also saying that better models with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips could be coming later.

So, why is the M5 chip such a big deal?

Just think of the M5 chip as a boost for Apple products. We can probably assume it'll be faster, have better battery life, and bring some cool AI features! Testing suggests the M5 will be much better than the M4, mostly for graphics.

Apple probably wants to put the M5 chip on the MacBook Pro first. That makes sense, since they want to attract creative people and those who need power for things like video and games.

Besides the MacBook, what else is getting the M5 chip?

The MacBook Pro isn't the only thing getting an M5 upgrade. Gurman also mentioned that Apple's next iPad Pro models will also have the M5 chip. Some YouTube videos have said the same thing. So, it's not just going into MacBooks.

The new M5 iPad Pro might get a fresh design, a better screen, and Apple Intelligence – which would allow AI on the device. The new tablets will be Apple's best and strongest, thanks to the M5 chip. This is also great for Apple.

What about a new Vision Pro?

Besides MacBooks and iPads, there's talk that Apple might show off some new Vision Pro headsets soon. Gurman says the new version will have a faster chip inside. It could be the M5 or something special for mixed reality.

The next Vision Pro's been in testing, so it's getting closer to release. If Apple shows it off with the new MacBook Pro and iPad Pro, then the family of M5 products will be bigger, and they can make more money, too.

So, when do we see all this new stuff?

Apple doesn't usually say stuff late in the week, so I'm guessing the reveal will be on Wednesday or Thursday. Keep an eye out – it could happen any day now.

I'm guessing the M5 MacBook Pro will be out as soon as they announce it. I wouldn't be shocked to see deliveries happen within the month. It's something that would help Apple's earnings. So, we'll just have to wait and see.

In short:

A new Apple M5 MacBook Pro announcement could be right around the corner. Apple's future looks cool. I think it will be amazing to see what happens! Apple has improved in the last few years.

14.NVIDIA Launches Compact AI PC Bringing Supercomputer Power to Your Desk

**Nvidia's DGX Spark: AI on Your Desk for $4,000**

So, Nvidia has this new thing, the DGX Spark. It's basically a mini AI powerhouse that sits on your desk. Yeah, it's four grand, but it's got some serious guts—one petaflop and 128GB of memory. You can snag one starting October 15, 2025, from Nvidia's site, US stores, or their partners. Nvidia is trying to bring data center-level AI right to your house.

**Great for Big Models**

The DGX Spark solves a simple AI issue. Loads of AI tasks need way more memory and power than your average computer has. Usually, people use cloud services or drop major cash on servers for bigger models. This Spark lets you manage models up to 200 billion parameters locally. You can even mess with models up to 70 billion parameters without having to use remote servers.

It rocks for researchers, startups, or anyone messing around with massive language models, image creators, and AI stuff. Nvidia says to check out Black Forest Labs' Flux.1 for images or create image search tools with their Cosmos Reason model, or mess around with chatbots using Qwen3—all will work on the Spark out of the box.

**Loads of Memory, Small Size**

The DGX Spark is pretty small when you think how powerful it is. This gold box weighs only 2.65 pounds and is about 5.91 x 5.91 x 1.99 inches. It won't hog your desk space. It pulls 240 watts and uses Nvidia's GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which combines the CPU and GPU.

Here's what you get:

*   128GB of memory shared between the system and GPU

*   ConnectX-7 200Gb/s networking

*   NVLink-C2C tech that's 5x faster than PCIe Gen 5

That memory is the best bit. Regular GPUs (like the RTX 5070) usually have like 12GB of memory. The Spark's 128GB means it can actually run models that typically need cloud services. For example, OpenAI's 120 billion-parameter gpt-oss model needs around 80GB of memory, which is too much for most computers.

**Software and OS**

The DGX Spark runs Nvidia's DGX OS, which is just Ubuntu Linux prepped for GPU tasks. It comes with Nvidia's AI software, such as:

*   CUDA libraries

*   NIM microservices

*   It plays nice with other tools

Since it's all set up, developers can jump right in.

**Is It Worth It? Good AI Value**

At $3,999, the DGX Spark seems pricey compared to your standard computer. But for AI stuff, it's not that bad. Check out these prices:

*   RTX Pro 6000: About $9,000 with 48GB of VRAM

*   Nvidia H100 server GPU: Around $25,000 for the low-end version

The Spark's GB10 chip is almost as good as an RTX 5070, but the memory is a game-changer for AI. It might not be as fast as the RTX 5090, but it can run far bigger models, which is what AI people care about.

**Cool Fact: Huang Gave a Spark to Musk**

Nvidia's boss, Jensen Huang, gave one of the first DGX Spark units to Elon Musk at SpaceX's Starbase in Texas. Huang also gave Musk the first DGX-1 system back in 2016 at OpenAI.

Back in 2016, we made DGX-1 to give AI researchers their own supercomputer, Huang said. I gave the first one to Elon at OpenAI (which was tiny back then), which started ChatGPT. DGX-1 got the AI supercomputer moving and showed what AI could be. With DGX Spark, we're doing that again.

**AI on Your Desk: What's Coming?**

The DGX Spark is a new approach to AI that’s pretty powerful without using server rooms or expensive cloud services. Who knows if everyone will want one, since cloud services are all over the place. If you need privacy, control, and stand-alone AI, the Spark is worth a look.

If AI models keep growing, the DGX Spark could become the best choice for researchers and those who like messing around without the cloud.

**Bottom Line**

Nvidia's DGX Spark is a little cube that runs huge AI models on your desk. If you're into chatbots, making images, or just messing with AI, the Spark could be your new go-to thing.

Order one starting on October 15. The future of AI could be on your desk, and it’s almost small enough to hold in your hand.

15.NVIDIA’s Tiny AI Supercomputer Is Coming October 15th — and It’s a Beast

Nvidia's DGX Spark is coming out soon! It's like a tiny, but strong AI computer for your desk. Check it out at nvidia.com or at US stores and Nvidia partners starting Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Remember Digits? Well, with the DGX Spark, playing with AI is way easier. It'll cost around $3,999 (even though they said $3,000 at first). Nvidia wants researchers, developers, and students to try all the new AI stuff with it.

🧠 A Neat Little Computer

The DGX Spark can do AI stuff that used to need a whole server room. Nvidia’s CEO, Jensen Huang, said Spark is gonna get AI to everyone—data fans, AI researchers, and students—so they can create the next great AI app.

This thing has pretty good specs:

Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip

128GB of memory

Up to 4TB of NVMe SSD storage

ConnectX-7 200Gb/s networking

NVLink-C2C for quick info sharing

So, Spark can do about one petaflop of AI work and run AI models with around 200 billion parameters. You can do language and image things right on your computer without always needing the cloud.

📦 Small But Powerful

The Spark is super small—2.65 pounds and around 6 x 6 x 2 inches. It fits on your desk and plugs into a normal wall plug. Nvidia says it’s the smallest AI computer that can do this much, and it probably is.

The CPU and GPU can use the same memory, which is good for those huge jobs that normal graphics cards can’t do. An RTX 5070 has 12GB of video memory, but Spark’s 128GB can run OpenAI’s 120 billion-parameter gpt-oss, which needs about 80GB of memory.

🖥️ Custom Versions From PC Brands

Nvidia's getting help from PC makers you've likely heard of. Others are making their own Spark versions, like Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, and MSI. The Acer Veriton GN100 will be around the same price as Nvidia’s: $3,999.

Because these brands sell the Spark, more people can get it and change its looks, cooling, and other things. Nvidia thinks Spark is just the start for desktop AI setups.

🔍 Who’s This For?

The DGX Spark is good for:

AI researchers who want to run big jobs without spending much on the cloud.

Students and teachers learning about machine learning.

Startups and developers building AI programs that stay off the cloud.

People making things using AI tools.

Cloud services might give you more space, but can cost a lot and might not be safe. Spark sits on your computer, works great, and is small enough to keep at home.

🚀 What About The Station?

Nvidia talked about a bigger Spark called Station. The Station will be stronger with more memory and is for businesses and research labs. No word on when they decide to release it.

📝 Heads up:

We said the DGX Spark was already available. Nvidia says shipping starts October 15, 2025.

🧭 So...

The DGX Spark could be something new for desktop computers. Nvidia got supercomputer power into a small box, which might get everyone to switch to AI that doesn’t need server rooms or subscriptions.

If you're a researcher, developer, or student, Spark might be your way into AI. This desktop AI thing might just be starting, and I bet the rest will start building their own ways to do it.

16.Windows Users at Risk — Two Unpatched Zero-Day Flaws Being Exploited Now

Alright, so Microsoft dropped a HUGE update this Tuesday – like, 183 fixes! If you're a Windows user, here's what's up: Windows 10 support is over, unless you're paying for Extended Security Updates (ESU). If you're sticking with Windows 10 and skipping the ESU, heads up – your system could be in danger.

Also, there were three zero-day bugs being actively used in the wild. That's why it was really important to grab those updates ASAP. Hopefully, you're already on it.

So, what's in this update? Here’s a quick breakdown:

*   A whopping 165 fixes are marked as Important. Translation: there are actual risks.

*   Only 17 are Critical. The security folks are not happy about this.

*   Just one is Moderate.

*   Eight fixes involved third-party code.

Lots of the fixes focus on stopping unauthorized file access – maybe 84 of them?

That keeps people out of places they shouldn't be. Next, 33 fixes patch remote code issues. That means someone could sneak into your computer over the internet without you even knowing. Plus, 14 fixes prevent identity theft. 11 fixes stop crashes, and another 11 block hackers from bypassing security.

And we're still not done! Last month, Microsoft pushed out *25* security fixes for the Edge browser.

Let's talk about those three zero-day exploits that were already public.

1.  CVE-2025-24990 – Agere Modem Driver Issue

    *   CVSS Score: 7.8 – Not good!

    *   Where's the problem? The ltmdm64.sys file in the Agere Modem Driver.

    *   What's the risk? Someone could gain admin-level access. Turns out this driver's been lurking on Windows machines for ages, even if nobody's using it! Microsoft won't patch it because it's so old.

    Adam Barnett (Rapid7) flagged this issue. If someone gets a toehold in your system, they could become an admin and control everything. Yeah, a bad situation!

2.  CVE-2025-59230 – RasMan issue

    *   CVSS Score: 7.8 – Another actively used bug!

    *   What's the cause? The Windows Remote Access Connection Manager (RasMan).

    *   What could happen? Bad guys exploiting RasMan could also get those sweet, sweet admin privileges.

    Satnam Narang (Tenable) is concerned about this one. Gaining admin access means game over.

3.  CVE-2025-47827 – Secure Boot problem

    *   CVSS Score: 4.6 – Less scary, but still a problem.

    *   The culprit: IGEL OS (older than version 11).

    *   The result: An attacker could bypass security physically, stealing data or messing with systems.

    Zack Didcott reported this. The catch? An attacker needs to be physically at the computer. If that's possible, you've got issues.

    Important: The feds want everyone to fix this ASAP (before November 4th). That shows how seriously they're taking it.

Other Updates To Note:

*   CVE-2025-59287 – Remote Code Thing in WSUS

    *   CVSS Score: 9.8

    *   Attackers might be able to take over WSUS if they can access it.

*   CVE-2025-59295 – Code Executed from Sketchy URLs

    *   CVSS Score: 8.8

    *   Bad URLs could let attackers screw with your system and data. If they get in, they can take control.

    Ben McCarthy (Immersive Labs) warned about this one!

*   CVE-2025-2884 – TPM2.0 Leaking Info

    *   CVSS Score: 5.3

    *   Danger from: Trusted Computing Group (TCG) TPM2.0 CryptHmacSign

    *   It's leaking info, which is bad for security.

Two Issues with a Score of 9.9

*   CVE-2025-49708 – Microsoft Graphics Component

17.Microsoft and Adobe Release October 2025 Patch Tuesday Updates: Here’s What’s Fixed

**Major Security Alert: Hackers Are Exploiting These Weak Spots Right Now!**

Hey everyone, pay attention! There are some seriously awful security holes that hackers are all over at the moment. You seriously need to know about these, like, ASAP.

Think of it like this: imagine if you left your front door wide open while you were away. Well, these zero-day exploits are kind of like that for computers. They're problems that the software makers didn't even know existed, but the criminals did – and they're fully taking advantage.

Here's the lowdown:

**That Old Modem Driver Issue (CVE-2025-24990 & CVE-2025-24052)**

So, there's this old Agere Modem driver (ltmdm64.sys). It's been hanging about in Windows for ages, even on the server versions. Now, loads of people don't even use dial-up modems anymore, but this driver is still sitting on their systems. This makes it an easy target for criminals because it's just so widespread.

The insane thing? Instead of actually fixing the difficulty, Microsoft just ripped the driver out altogether with the KB5066791 update. It's like fixing a leaky faucet by cutting off the water to the house! What's really worrisome is that if a criminal manages to sneak a little bit into your system, these weaknesses let them rise from being a low-level intruder to a full-blown administrator. That's game over right there.

Someone called Adam Barnett at Rapid7 made a clever note. He mentioned that even if you don't ever use that specific modem, you're still at risk. If a hacker already has a way into your PC, they can use this driver to become the boss.

**Remote Access Problem (CVE-2025-59230)**

This weakness is all about how Windows handles remote access. If a person has already been given permission to be on your system (maybe they stole someone's password), they can take advantage of this to have total control – what's called SYSTEM privileges. It's a difficulty with RasMan (Remote Access Connection Manager). The interesting thing is that it's the first time anyone has seen hackers actively attacking this piece of Windows. Also, they've already taken care of more than 20 difficulties in RasMan since 2022! This shows how tempting this part of Windows is for the bad guys!.

Satnam Narang, who is associated with Tenable, said that lots of companies use RasMan for VPNs and other remote access stuff. That indicates this weakness could touch a lot of businesses.

**Bypassing Secure Boot (CVE-2025-47827)**

This is a problem with older versions of IGEL OS, especially before version 11. A security person, Zack Didcott, talked about this way back in June 2025. If someone can physically get their hands on the computer, they can go around Secure Boot. That allows them to install rootkits, which are incredibly sneaky malware that's really hard to remove.

Kev Breen at Immersive Labs called it an evil maid attack. It's mostly that if a bad actor can access the machine, they can mess with virtual desktops and pinch login info. Think of it like someone sneaking into your hotel room while you're out and messing with your laptop.

Here's the real talk: the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is treating this seriously. They've put all three of these weaknesses on their list of known difficulties that hackers are actively trying to make the most of. That means all federal groups have to patch these things right away – by November 4.

**Other Things To Be Aware Of**

It's not just those three. There's more coming:

*   **TPM 2.0 Mess (CVE-2025-2884):** This is a difficulty with the Trusted Computing Group's TPM 2.0 security component. The Difficulty is a mistake in how they look at things in the CryptHmacSign function. That stands for a pirate could view data which shouldn’t be found

*   **Azure Compute Gallery Issue:** In Azure some gallery problems could let limited peoples get things to wrong place and run code. If the problem is there be safe with the cloud!

*   **Windows 10's Last: KB5066791:** KB5066791 fix problems on windows 10 but support will end and can be on your own!

**What other fixes were found by Microsoft this month?**

Windows found fixes this month within the system.

*   **Windows:** Main files files, graphics,files sharing

*   **Azure:** cloud monitor, machine device

*   **Microsoft office:** share writing charts

*   **Tools:** app programs device control

*   **Secure terms:** linux Sign in control

*   **Gaming:** Live play and Sign in

*   **Browsing application:** About 14 security issues

**Adobe Security found what issues?**

*   **24** danger

*   **12** alerts

*   **36** security breaking

Bad things happen

*   Permissions are granted

*   Security problems happen

*   Run unsafe code

Security changes which app?

*   Chat places

*   Money transfer

*   Cloud storage

*   Edit tools

*   Animation tools

*   Digital help

**The main point: Patch was important!**

Patch fixes fixed a total of 193 problems. Six hackers were working with windows 10 is at its end.

Keep your stuff good if not important. Every adobe tool can be a big problem to your pc.

If you are in a charge of stuff get a cloud and start thinking good.

18.M5 MacBook Pro Teased by Apple Marketing Chief Greg Joswiak Ahead of Launch

**Apple Drops a Hint: Is a New Mighty MacBook Pro Coming Soon?**

Guess what? Apple's got everyone talking again! They just dropped a little teaser about a new MacBook Pro, and the internet is buzzing.

So, what happened? Greg Joswiak (everyone calls him Joz), who's in charge of all things marketing at Apple, posted a quick message on X. He said, Mmmmm. Something powerful is coming. It came with a dark video clip of a MacBook Pro. You could see the side of it, kind of folded open with the Apple logo shining. And of course, it said, Coming Soon.

Even though it wasn't much, it made everyone go wild. Apple fans and people who follow the tech industry have been waiting for Apple to show them cool products this fall. This could be It.

**Reading Between the Lines: Is M5 the Word?**

That post by Joz might be short, but people think there is a lot happening. The Mmmmm part, with five Ms in a row, seems like a hint that the next MacBook Pro will use Apple's M5 chip. The shape of the MacBook in the video looks like a V, the Roman numeral for five? It seems too obvious! If you see the number 5 it is M5, and M5 is coming is what they want us to think.

Apple hasn't officially said anything at all about the M5 chip, like what it’s called or how it works. But it looks like the next MacBook Pro could have one. They seem to be making new, faster chips all the time.

**What Can People Expect? Probably an Upgrade.**

From what everyone is saying, the MacBook Pro that's coming out will just be the basic 14-inch one. They expect it to be more of an upgrade, not a completely new design. It should look pretty similar to the current M4 model.

But here is what they do expect from Apple

*   **Faster M5 chip:** It should work faster and not use up as much power as the M4.

*   **More storage and Room:** Maybe they will give you more space to start with.

*   **A New Look:** There might be a light blue color, like the MacBook Air.

They did not say a date, but Coming Soon makes it sound like it's going to happen any day now. Stay Tuned!

**What's the Deal with the M5 Chip?**

Apple's M-series chips have always been great for laptops. The M5 chip is probably faster and better in a few ways:

*   The main processor and graphics should be quicker.

*   It should be better at doing things with AI.

*   It shouldn't get too hot.

*   The battery should last longer.

The M5 could use a more advanced way of making chips. That would mean they can put more stuff inside and make it more efficient. That should make the new MacBook Pro even better for people who use them for work.

**What's Up With The Delay?**

Normally, Apple brings out new products twice a year, one in September and then again in October. They released the iPhone 17 ones on time, but some expected announcements like new iPads, updates to the Vision Pro, and MacBooks haven't happened yet.

Maybe Joz's message is just to let people know that they are still coming. The delay might be because of problems getting parts, getting the software ready, or just waiting for the right time to show everything off. You never know with Apple!

**Why This Matters**

The MacBook Pro is an important product for Apple, mainly for serious users. A new one with the M5 chip would make it even faster, which would show that Apple knows what they’re doing when it comes to making their own chips.

The M5 MacBook Pro could be a big deal for:

*   **Developers:** Less waiting for things to finish.

*   **Designers:** Easier to work with big files.

*   **Video Editors:** Faster editing.

Even if it looks the same on the outside, the quicker performance could make a difference, especially if you're still using an older Mac.

**What Are People Saying?**

The response has been quite positive.

**In Conclusion: One Last Hint**

Joz's teaser might have been short, but it said a lot. With those five Ms and the V shape, Apple is saying that the new MacBook Pro is on its way.

We don't have all the details yet, but it sounds like Apple is about to start a new chapter with laptops. Whether you use your computer to do creative stuff, make apps, or just love cool technology, the M5 MacBook Pro is one of this year's most exciting things that could happen.

19.PlayStation 6 Manufacturing Expected to Start in Early 2027

People are chatting about the PlayStation 6 (PS6) possibly arriving around early 2027. If the chatter holds true, we might see it on store racks later that year. The info's cropping up thanks to Moore’s Law Is Dead (MLID), a hardware leaker known for inside sources. He says he's peeked at private docs that suggest that timeline. While he's keeping them private, he’s spot-on with PlayStation scoops.

MLID was gabbing on a podcast with Dustin Furman about something sacred, apparently, and said, “Listen, I’ve seen the stuff. I'm not showing anyone but Sony is kicking these things into gear around the middle or even start of 2027. That’s when they're going to be mass producing the PS6. [They’ve been plotting this] for ages.”

So, what’s the deal with this whole console cycle?

If that 2027 launch rumor is right, it kinda makes sense. The PlayStation 4 showed up in 2013, and then we got the PlayStation 5 in 2020. That’s roughly 7 years apart. So, if the PS6 lands by 2027, it seems to stick to that pattern.

Another person on the internet, KeplerL2, mentioned Sony’s aiming to drop the new console around 2027, which makes MLID's info seem to come together. These plans might change, sure, but 2027 seems to be where they are aiming.

So, what's with starting so early?

Well, a big take away from the PS5 situation was prepping the supply chain. Things were messy, to put it lightly. The PS5 popped up when the COVID-19 pandemic was in full swing, and the entire globe was feeling the shock. That made grabbing the system from stores tricky, and those scalpers were making a KILLING.

Sony wants to skip all that this time around. By beginning assembly months ahead, they want a pile of consoles ready to go for a smooth opening. Nintendo did pretty well with the Switch 2, launching like crazy 'cause they had piles of stock.

Do we even need the PS6 right now?

Tons of people are doing mid upgrades for their consoles to keep up, but Sony's sticking to the console plan, and they are betting the PS6 will be much better than the older stuff.

The PS5 Pro is supposedly coming in 2025, but the PS6 will have new tech and crazy top-tier graphics. Oh, and of course, better AI. This new console is for both developers and us players. It's one big change.

How much will it cost? Will it be cheap?

MLID also had some thoughts on a potential price tag for the PS6. He's just using common sense but he feels Sony is hunting for parts that will trim costs. Stuff like not as much space and smaller cooling devices. That would cut down on production costs quite a bit.

Despite being maybe stronger than the PS5 Pro, MLID is thinking the PS6 *could* be cheaper – I mean, IF we get inflation staying where we are. If that happens, it could make the console affordable and a strong buyer against the market.

What kinds of parts could be inside?

No one has the exact specs, but here's what the PS6 *could* come with:

*   An AMD APU deal with CPU and GPU cores.

*   8K gaming and ray tracing.

*   Way more SSD storage.

*   Cooler AI stuff.

*   Better energy using.

Sony might keep pushing those PlayStation VR advancements, game streaming, and their digital store.

A solid strategy is important for the market.

Sony’s game plan for launching the PS6 will be tied to learning from the PS5 slip-ups. There's Xbox and cloud gaming platforms to think about, after all. So, Sony will need great hardware, services, and software, all in sync.

This allows Sony to build up inventory and take care of distribution. This also shows fans that there is hope is seeing a new console at launch.

What's the final outcome? Is it coming?

The PS6 is being prepped, so it is planned for release. So, the PlayStation brand gets to keep going.

Whether there are tweaks to the specs, a new look, or a lower price, the PS6 is looking like one of the biggest releases in a while. Time to see what follows.

20.Microsoft’s Windows Media Creation Tool Fails Right Before Windows 10’s End of Life

Ending Thoughts

21.Apple Has at Least 10 New Devices on the Way, Leak Claims

Okay, here’s a more chill take on what Apple's doing:

*   A C1X 5G modem for faster internet.

*   Better battery and cooling.

22.Microsoft Loosens Restrictions: Even Unsupported PCs Can Get Windows 11 for Free

So, wanna put Windows 11 on your old Windows 10 computer?

*   Then, find:

*   Save and restart.

✅ **Turn on Secure Boot**

*   Find Security or Boot options.

*   Find Secure Boot and turn it on.

*   Save and restart.

Good luck!

The software version ends in BYI4, with September 2025 security updates.

**What's Coming Soon: One UI 8.5**

One UI 8.5 will likely come with the Galaxy S26 in early 2026. A test version is possible as early as November 2025 for a few phones.

Coming expectations:

*   Interface is cooler and more personal

*   Better Samsung AI and Bixby routines

*   Easy multitasking

*   Odds are new widgets and animations

Phones with One UI 8 should get 8.5. It gets you ready for a smarter Galaxy experience.

**How It's Reaching You**

Samsung is doing updates in waves for better stability. It's gone well, except for a Fold SE update.

24.Apple Launches iOS 26.1 Beta 3 — Here’s What’s New

*   Chinese (Traditional)

*   Danish

*   Dutch

*   Norwegian

*   Portuguese (Portugal)

*   Swedish

*   Turkish

*   Vietnamese

*   Italian

*   Japanese

*   Korean

*   Applications might open quicker.

25.Microsoft Refutes Claims That Target and Walmart Pulled Xbox Products from Shelves

26.Google’s Powerful AI Image Editor Expands to Search, Photos, and NotebookLM

*   Whiteboard

*   Anime

*   Retro Print

*   The original Classic style

27.TEKKEN 8 Dominates Evo France With Armor King’s Return and Miary Zo Reveal

28.Microsoft Tightens Security on IE Mode After Hackers Exploit Legacy Feature

Okay, so Microsoft's been tweaking its Edge browser, mainly how it handles Internet Explorer mode.

29.Final Chapter Approaches: The Copper Cape Quest Is Almost Complete

30.Microsoft Develops Its Own AI Image Generator, Built Entirely In-House

31.Meet the Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo: The Brand’s Latest Track Weapon

Lamborghini just dropped their latest racing machine, the Temerario Super Trofeo. Think of it as a major upgrade for their customer racing program, called Squadra Corse. They showed it off at their World Finals shindig in Misano. This new bad boy is hitting the tracks in 2027. It's replacing the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2.

Lamborghini's serious about racing. They started Squadra Corse back in 2009 and have been revving things up ever since. The Temerario Super Trofeo is their sixth model. It's the next step up from the Gallardo and Huracan models. It's designed for better performance and easier to use, and perfect for drivers who want to become GT drivers.

What's under the hood? A six hundred-forty horsepower, twin-turbo V8 engine. This engine comes from the road-legal Temerario, but without the hybrid stuff. It's built to deliver pure power for the track. This same engine is going into the Temerario GT3, which is making its debut at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in 2026. The GT3 and Super Trofeo platforms are close, so there is a relationship with the technologies.

It's got a six-speed sequential transmission, which is also in the GT3 car. This makes sure the performance is the same across the board. It keeps things simple for racing teams and gives drivers an easy way to move between the Super Trofeo and GT3.

The Temerario Super Trofeo uses an ALU/CFK hybrid chassis, which is a mix of aluminum and carbon fiber. This makes it stiff but also keeps the weight down. There’s also a roll cage that meets FIA standards. So, safety is important. But not at the cost of performance.

It has ABS braking and a 12-point traction control system. Drivers can change the car's setup for different track conditions and driving styles. So both pros and newbies can get the most out of this car.

According to Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini’s Chief Technical Officer, this car is all about fun. He says it is a pure racing version of the road-going Temerario. Plus, it's great for drivers who want to get into GT racing.

Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, talked about how far they've come. He said that back in 2009, they took a chance with the Gallardo Super Trofeo. Lamborghini wasn't a racing brand at the time, but their customers wanted a track-ready car. Over 1300 drivers have raced in Super Trofeo.

The Super Trofeo series has become popular for Lamborghini. It’s brought together drivers, teams, and fans who love Italian design and racing. The Temerario Super Trofeo is ready to carry on that legacy with even more power and tech.

With the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 retiring at the end of 2026, the Temerario Super Trofeo is taking over in 2027. This lines up with Lamborghini’s plan to bring their racing and road car technologies closer together.

The Temerario Super Trofeo is a symbol for Lamborghini fans, racers, and engineers. It shows they’re serious about racing, listening to their customers, and moving racing forward.

So, as we wait for 2027, the Temerario Super Trofeo is going to start the next chapter for Lamborghini. This will be defined by speed, precision, and a whole lot of passion.

32.Breakthrough ‘Mind-Captioning’ System Converts Brain Signals Into Language

**Mind-Captioning: Turning Thoughts into Words with Brain Scans and AI**

The idea of reading minds using tech isn't exactly new. Brain scientists and tech experts have been trying for years to figure out what our brain signals mean. Usually, they try to match specific brain activity to single words, like naming objects or actions a person is seeing or thinking about. Other methods involve matching brain signals to spoken words. Some even use huge databases of image captions and complex AI to make text. But these older ways don't work that well. Some are restricted by how many words the databases contain. Others add info that wasn't even in the person's brain in the first place. So, creating detailed and accurate descriptions of what someone is seeing or what they're thinking about has been really difficult.

But a recent study in *Science Advances* shows some real progress. The researchers came up with something they call mind-captioning. It's a new technique that uses a back-and-forth process to create text that actually matches what's going on in someone's brain. This approach relies on a special type of language model to produce text. It lines up language features with the meaning taken from brain scans (specifically, fMRI scans). Basically it translate the pattern of your brain activity when seeing an object to its meaning, then translate the meaning to textual discription.

**How the Thought-to-Text Thing Works**

The main part of this technique is training computer models to figure out meaning from brain scans.These models are then fed into the language model, which then uses this information to write the text, making sure that the text gets better and better at matching the brain signals. The result is a detailed description of what someone is seeing or remembering. It's like turning brain activity directly into language.

In the first part of the study, six people watched about 2,200 short video clips while getting their brains scanned. The videos showed all sorts of random things – objects, scenes, actions, you name it. Some of the people spoke Japanese, and some spoke English.

To train the system, other people had already written captions for these videos. The researchers used another language model to pull out the main ideas from these captions. Then, they matched these ideas to the brain activity of the people watching the videos. After all the prep training, the langauge model started to try and create matching text.

At first, the text descriptions were messy and didn't make much sense. But as the system kept refining things, the descriptions became more organized and meaningful. The researchers said that the final descriptions were pretty good at capturing what was happening in the videos. Even when it didn't get the exact object right, the system still understood the relationships between the different things in the scene.

**How Good Is It?**

To see how well the system worked, the researchers compared the text it generated to both correct and incorrect descriptions. They said the system was right about 50% of the time. That's better than other methods and they think it can get even better. It's pretty impressive, especially when you consider how tricky it is to turn raw brain activity into a detailed description.

**Reading Memories**

In the second part of the study, the researchers asked the same people to remember the videos they'd watched earlier, while still getting their brains scanned. This was to see if the system could read memory-based brain activity, rather than just what they were currently seeing.

The results were good. The texts the system generated were similar to the content of the videos they were remembering. Some people had better results than others. For the best participant, the system was almost 40% accurate at figuring out which video they were thinking about from a set of 100 videos. So, the mind-captioning thing can not only understand what someone is seeing, but also reconstruct past experiences they are remembering.

**What It Could Be Used For**

One of the most exciting uses for this tech is to help people who can't speak, like those recovering from strokes or those with diseases that affect their brain. Regular brain-computer interfaces usually rely on simple word associations or very limited vocabularies. The mind-captioning system, on the other hand, can hopefully understand deeper meanings and the relationships between thoughts. So, people could be able to express themselves more fully and naturally.

The researchers are level-headed and say that the system is still in the early stages and needs a lot of work before it can be used in hospitals, at clinics, or in real-world situations.

**Important Ethical Things to Consider**

Like any tech that reads your mind, there are some serious ethical things to worry about. The power to turn thoughts into language raises questions about keeping our thoughts private, about consent, and about the misuse. The researchers stress that people need to be fully aware of what's happening and agree to it when dealing with any of these technologies. We need to think carefully about what it means to access and understand someone's private thoughts before these systems become used more widely.

Despite all these concerns, the study is a big step forward for brain science and AI. It gives researchers a powerful new way to study how the brain processes complex experiences, and it provides a clear way to turn thoughts into language.

In short, researchers have cracked the code.

**N7 Day 2025: BioWare Shows Off Civil War Art While Mass Effect 5 Stays Hidden**

Every November 7th, Mass Effect fans get together to celebrate N7 Day. It started as an inside joke about the game's military ranks, but it's become a huge party for everything Mass Effect. This year, 2025, we still didn't get a big reveal or solid news about the fifth game, which everyone's been waiting for. But BioWare did give us something: a cool piece of art called Civil War, hinting at what's coming in the galaxy's future.

The art shows a bunch of Krogan warriors in a messy fight. They're big and tough, and it reminds you of how they've always been fighting – sometimes with other species, sometimes with each other. Mike Gamble, the project director and executive producer for the series, said this scene is a future event that happens after the first three games and maybe even after Mass Effect: Andromeda, which is set way later in a different galaxy.

Gamble also said that BioWare is trying to link the stories from the Milky Way and Andromeda together. Everything you've seen from all N7 Days will tie together, he said. This means the studio has a plan to use these little teases to get us hyped while slowly showing us what the next game will be like.

**A Changing Galaxy**

For the last few years, BioWare has been dropping bits of concept art and short videos to give us clues about the next Mass Effect game. These images show a galaxy that's changing – trying to rebuild after the Reaper war and checking out new places in Andromeda. Back in 2023, they showed a video of someone in an N7 jacket walking around and then going outside. It was short, but it got everyone talking about who that person was and if they'd be important.

The art from that year also had different alien species reflected in the character's jacket, suggesting there would be lots of different characters and maybe a story that goes across different worlds. With this new Krogan image, it looks like BioWare is setting up a story with political drama, relationships between different species, and big problems for the whole galaxy.

**BioWare's Promise**

BioWare said on N7 Day that they're really focused on the series now. We're heads-down and focused only on Mass Effect, the studio said. We have a lot of story to tell, lots of things to create, and lots of love stories to work on. We're happy with what we're making, and we promise you, when we're ready, it'll be fun to show.

They didn't give us a lot of details, but it sounds like they want to make a game that's true to the series but also moves it forward. The mention of love stories is a reminder that Mass Effect is known for its characters and how you can build relationships with them. So, fans can expect to see new friends, interesting conversations, and choices that matter.

**The Prime Video Show**

There's also a Mass Effect show coming to Prime Video, which is being made at the same time as the game. We don't know much about it, but it could be a story that goes along with the game or something to get people excited for its release. We don't know if it'll come out before or after Mass Effect 5, but it shows that they have a bigger plan for the series.

**Still Waiting**

Even with all the excitement around N7 Day and the little bits of news we've been getting, fans are still waiting for a full reveal. There's no trailer, no gameplay footage, and no release date yet. We don't even know the official name of the game. But the clues BioWare keeps giving us suggest they're being careful and planning their next move.

The Civil War art, Gamble's comments, and the studio's focus all suggest that Mass Effect is coming back not just as a game, but as a big, connected story. Whether we play as a new hero or see the return of old favorites, the next game will probably explore what happens after the choices we've made and what new friendships are possible.

34.New ‘Mass Effect 5’ Artwork Offers Clues About the Game’s Narrative

35.iPhone Air vs Galaxy S25 Edge: The Ultimate Battery Life Showdown

## iPhone Air vs Galaxy S25 Edge: Real-World Battery Test

When Apple first showed off the iPhone Air, everyone wondered: Is it as tough as it looks? Can such a thin phone really last all day on a single charge? At just 5.65 mm, it's Apple’s thinnest phone ever, which got people wondering about its durability and battery life.

Now that the phone's been out for a while, we're getting some answers – and they're a bit surprising. Tests show the iPhone Air's glass can crack if dropped. That being said, Apple did a good job building it: even though it's super slim, it doesn't bend easily, which is much better than older iPhones.

Even with the durability questions, people are still curious about the battery. The iPhone Air has a 3,149 mAh battery, which isn't huge. It's smaller than the batteries in the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max, which have more room for bigger batteries and better cooling. It's not really a fair comparison – but some reviews compared the Air to Apple's top-tier phones, which lasted longer, of course.

But that's missing the point. The iPhone Air is different: a super-thin, light phone that focuses on looks, feel, and portability, instead of just trying to last as long as possible. So, to really see how good the battery is, we need to compare it to a similar phone.

That's where the YouTube channel PhoneBuff comes in. They're known for their controlled battery tests. They recently tested the iPhone Air and the Galaxy S25 Edge to give us the comparison we've been waiting for.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is Samsung’s super-slim phone, a bit thicker than the iPhone Air at 5.8 mm. It has a bigger 3,900 mAh battery – about 24% bigger than the iPhone Air's. It also has a slightly bigger 6.7-inch screen compared to the Air's 6.5-inch screen, which means Samsung had more room inside. That extra space allowed them to add stereo speakers and a second back camera, which the iPhone Air skips to stay slim.

In PhoneBuff's test, both phones did the same things: calls, texts, browsing, social media, video playback, and some standby time. This way, they could see how long the batteries lasted in real-world use.

The results? The Galaxy S25 Edge lasted longer, which makes sense since it has a bigger battery. But the iPhone Air did better than expected. Despite having a smaller battery, Apple's setup – with the A18 chip and iOS power management – kept it running for most of the test. The iPhone Air didn't die too long after the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is good for such a small phone.

This means the iPhone Air can easily get you through a full day with normal use – which many people didn't think was possible for a phone this thin. Apple's combination of a power-saving chip, a screen that adjusts its refresh rate, and smart background management helps the phone use power efficiently.

If you want the best battery life and more features like a better camera and louder speakers, the Galaxy S25 Edge is still the better choice. But the iPhone Air proves that you don't have to sacrifice battery life for a super-thin phone.

In the end, the PhoneBuff test showed how good phones have gotten. The fact that a 5.65 mm iPhone can almost keep up with a phone that has a much bigger battery shows how well Apple combines its hardware and software. If you want the thinnest phone possible and don't want it dying before the day is over, the iPhone Air is a surprisingly good option.

36.Battery Showdown: Which of the Six Flagships Lasts the Longest?

I watched a cool video from TechDroider on YouTube where they did a battery test on a bunch of flagship phones. The main point was to find out which phone could last the longest on a single charge. They included some of the biggest names out there: the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro Max, Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and OnePlus 13. They even threw in the older Xiaomi 15 Pro to have something to compare them against.

TechDroider's test seemed pretty normal. They did what most people do with their phones every day, like looking at websites, watching videos, playing games, and taking pictures. They kept track of how long each phone lasted while doing these things and how hot each phone got.

What I thought was really interesting was that even though the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has a huge battery, it barely beat the iPhone. I'm guessing Apple has figured out something smart with their hardware and software working together, because the iPhone's smaller battery was super efficient. So it looks like how well a phone's parts work together makes a big difference in how long the battery lasts.

Here’s a breakdown of the results from TechDroider’s test:

| Model                  | Battery Life | Temperature (°C) |

| ---------------------- | ------------ | ---------------- |

| Xiaomi 17 Pro Max     | 13h 36m      | 47.6             |

| iPhone 17 Pro Max     | 13h 31m      | 43.1             |

| Xiaomi 15 Pro          | 12h 31m      | 47.4             |

| OnePlus 13             | 11h 56m      | 43.5             |

| Google Pixel 10 Pro XL | 11h 28m      | 42.6             |

| Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra| 11h 20m      | 45.0             |

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, which has a massive 7500 mAh battery, came in first place, However, But it only lasted five minutes longer than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone, with its smaller 4823 mAh battery, was right behind it. The Xiaomi needed a much bigger battery to barely win. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which has a 5000 mAh battery, didn't do so great in the test. The Pixel 10 Pro XL was okay, but it didn't last as long as the others.

Another thing I noticed was how hot the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max got. It reached 47.6°C, which is pretty warm. I wonder if pushing that big battery so hard is what caused it to heat up. They even stopped the test for a bit to let it cool down! The iPhone 17 Pro Max stayed much cooler, only getting to 43.1°C. I'm not sure if it's because of their new cooler, but it seemed to handle the heat better. The older Xiaomi 15 Pro had a more normal temperature. Both the OnePlus 13 and Pixel 10 Pro XL had good battery life and stayed at a reasonable temperature. The Galaxy S25 Ultra didn't do as well, with the shortest battery life and a temperature of 45°C.

So, what does this all tell you if you’re thinking of getting a new phone? It shows that a big battery isn't the only thing that matters. What’s going on inside the phone is really important, too. The chip inside the phone plays a big role (the Xiaomi uses a Snapdragon 8 Elite, and the iPhone uses its A19 Pro). The way the software and hardware work together also makes a difference.

It’s worth mentioning that TechDroider said their test wasn’t perfect. Apps running in the background could have changed the results a little. If you just want the phone that will last the longest, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is the winner based on this test. Though, if you don’t mind a little less battery life, the iPhone 17 Pro Max seems like a really good choice. It still has great battery life but doesn’t get as hot. It looks like the Pixel phones tend to stay cool, but they might not last as long. If you don’t need a phone right away, it might be a good idea to wait to see more tests and when you can purchase the Xiaomi where you live.

The main thing I took away from the TechDroider video is that, regardless of the fact that the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max (13 hours and 36 minutes at 47.6°C) beat the iPhone 17 Pro Max (13 hours and 31 minutes at 43.1°C), the difference was only like five minutes! The Galaxy S25 Ultra had the worst battery life at 11 hours and 20 minutes, with the Xiaomi 15 Pro (12 hours and 31 minutes) coming in third, and the OnePlus 13 (11 hours and 56 minutes) fourth. On the upside, the Pixel 10 Pro XL stayed cooler. I think these tests can kinda show that while you might be getting a phone based on some sort of spec, the internal software also seems important. If you don't need the absolute best top-of-the-line performance for a phone, there may still be other choices out there! These tests seem to show that bigger batteries don't always mean better.

37.Apple Ends Support for Its Once-Popular Clips App

Apple is pulling the plug on Clips after seven years.

Apple has quietly stopped supporting Clips, their short video app that aimed to give iPhone and iPad users simple, social media-style editing. The app has disappeared from the App Store, and Apple says they won’t be updating it anymore.

If you didn't already have Clips, you won’t be able to download it after October 10th, 2025. If you’ve used it before, you can still get it from your App Store history, and it will keep working on your devices for now. But since it's not supported, Apple says Clips might not work with future iOS and iPadOS versions.

Apple is telling people to save their videos—with or without stickers, filters, and effects—to the Photos app. From there, you can still edit or watch them in other Apple or other video apps. It’s a quiet end for an app that was once Apple’s attempt at easy-to-use creative tools.

A Good Start in 2017

Clips came out in April 2017 as Apple’s take on Snapchat and Instagram Stories. But unlike those platforms, Clips wasn't about sharing or followers. Instead, it let people make short videos with filters, emojis, animated captions, and music — all for quick, fun stories.

Back then, Apple said Clips was a way for anyone to make short, cool videos without needing fancy editing software like iMovie or Final Cut Pro. The app had “Live Titles,” a smart voice-to-text caption, and direct sharing to iMessage and social media.

Some critics and users thought it was too basic. TechCrunch’s Brian Heater said in 2017 that it was “a little too simple for what it could be,” saying Apple could have used it to show off new camera and AR. But he also said it had potential as a fun alternative to social media — a private place to create and share without worrying about likes or followers.

Fewer Updates Over Time

Over the years, Apple added some new things to Clips, like AR, Memoji, and scene backgrounds. But updates slowed down a lot. By 2023, they were mostly just fixing problems, which meant the app’s best days were over.

Sites like MacRumors noted that the last update was in 2021. After that, the app wasn’t as important because there were new AI video tools for creators. Platforms like TikTok, CapCut, and Runway got popular by offering social sharing and advanced editing that Clips couldn’t do.

Fans Don’t Mind, AI Takes Over

Apple fans haven’t really reacted much. On Reddit, many people said they hadn’t used Clips in years — or never even knew about it. “It was fun for about five minutes,” one person wrote. Another said, “We have CapCut, Sora, and Reels now. Clips feels old.”

The mention of Sora, OpenAI’s video app, shows how short video creation has changed. Sora had over a million downloads in its first week, which shows how AI has replaced manual editing for regular users.

As one tech person said, “Clips was for people who wanted to make fun videos. Now people just tell AI what they want, and it makes it for them.”

The End of Something

Now that Clips is gone, Apple seems focused on main creative software like iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and new iPad tools for pros. Apple hasn’t said it will replace Clips, but it’s adding more camera and editing features to the Photos app — maybe putting some of Clips’ ideas right into the system.

Even though Clips wasn’t a big hit, it shows a time when Apple was willing to try out fun, separate apps. For a company known for being careful, Clips showed a fun side — where having fun was as important as getting things done.

38.Apple is winding down Clips, its forgotten video-editing app

Apple Shuts Down Clips App: Goodbye to Its Social Video Editor

Apple is ending its Clips app, which is like saying goodbye to a seven-year experiment with social video editing. They quietly updated their help page to say they stopped working on the app, and new users can’t find it in the App Store anymore. If you already use Clips on your iPhone or iPad, you can still use it for now, but Apple isn't saying how long that will last.

The support page says if you got Clips before, you can download it again from your Apple account. But it’s pretty clear the app is on its way out.

Clips came out in 2017. It was Apple’s attempt to get in on the short video craze for social media. It had tools that made making videos quick, fun, and easy. You could throw in animated text, stickers, filters, and even live captions that used your voice. Plus, it worked with other Apple stuff, so you could share videos through Messages or save them to your photos.

Even though it started strong, Clips didn’t really take off. People said it was easy to use and looked good, but it couldn’t beat out the competition like Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat. Those apps kept adding similar or better features. Clips became just another app instead of a big hit.

Apple's choice to close Clips shows a change in what they're doing. Instead of having separate apps for everything, they're putting features right into their main stuff. Things that Clips could do, like video filters, text, and quick sharing, are now in the iPhone Photos app and other standard tools.

If you still use Clips, Apple says to back up your videos. They suggest saving them to your photo library or somewhere else, which means it might not be around forever. If you made cool stuff or saved memories with Clips, you should probably do this.

Clips going away shows how fast tech changes. Apps that seem cool can become old news in just a few years, especially with social media and video creation. This move from Apple shows it's important to keep up with the times, whether you're a user or a developer.

What’s interesting is that Apple isn’t saying Clips was a failure. They’re acting like it was just a limited-time thing that ran its course. They haven't said if they'll replace Clips or if they have a new video-editing idea. For now, if you want something similar, you’ll have to use other apps or the tools that come with your iPhone and iPad.

As Apple makes its system better, Clips disappearing is more like cleaning up than losing something important. By making things simpler and focusing on the main stuff, they probably want to make people happier with their products.

But if you liked how simple and fun Clips was, it’s kind of the end of an era. Whether you made funny birthday messages, quick travel videos, or just played with the filters, Clips made it fun to make videos. For a while, it felt like it was the future of making stuff on your phone.

Now, that future is in other apps. But we’ll remember Clips as Apple’s real effort to make video editing fun for everyone, even if it didn’t last very long.

39.Square Enix Teases New Dissidia Final Fantasy Game for iOS and Android, Reveal Set for October 14

Square Enix is about to drop a new Dissidia Final Fantasy game, and it's coming to your phone! Mark your calendars for October 14 at 3:00 a.m. PT. / 6:00 a.m. ET. / 19:00 JST. You can catch the Team Boss Battle trailer on YouTube in English and Japanese.

This is the first new Dissidia game for phones since they shut down Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia back in February 2024. That game was around for a while and had a lot of fans, so its ending left a hole that Square Enix looks ready to fill.

They haven't said much about the gameplay yet, but there's a teaser website up in English and Japanese. It seems to have cool character art and an arena setting. So, it looks like it might be a team-based fighting game where you work together.

Early buzz says it'll be a team boss battle arena style of game, mixing in some real-time strategy, action RPG stuff, and co-op play. This would be a change from the one-on-one fights in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (the last console game), which got mixed reviews. A lot of fans have been wanting a game like the older PSP ones with a good story. Hopefully, this new mobile game will be it.

The hype is already building! The social media accounts (@DDFF_EN and @DDFF_JP) are posting countdowns and hints, getting people to guess which characters will show up and what the gameplay will be like. The series usually has characters from all over the Final Fantasy world, so expect to see favorites like Cloud, Squall, Lightning, and Noctis.

Square Enix is putting this on phones because mobile gaming is a big deal. Games like Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and War of the Visions have been doing well, so they're clearly trying to give players a good experience on the go, while keeping the quality high.

If you're a long-time Dissidia fan, this is a comeback. The series is known for its fast action, character moments, and lore. If Square Enix can make that work on mobile, with some new ideas and a fun multiplayer mode, this could be big.

Keep an eye on the teaser site and the social media pages as we get closer to October 14. This might be one of the biggest mobile RPG announcements of the year. Whether you loved the PSP games or just like the idea of team-based boss battles, the next Dissidia Final Fantasy is almost here.

40.Microsoft’s Latest Windows 10 Update: Why Timing Matters More Than Ever

Heads up, Windows 10 users! Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10, so here's what that means for you.

After October 14, 2025, Windows 10 won't get security updates anymore. This could leave your computer open to viruses and online threats. It's a big deal since tons of people still use Windows 10.

Windows is still the most used operating system worldwide, with over 1.4 billion devices running on it . About 43% of them were still on Windows 10 as of July 2025, according to Statcounter. In the UK, Which? says about 21 million people still use Windows 10. They found that about 25% plan to keep using it even without support, but about 14% are thinking about getting a new computer.

Without updates, your system is open to attacks. Cybersecurity experts and consumer advocates are worried. Nathan Proctor from U.S. PIRG says it's bad for customers and the planet. He's not happy about devices and software that become useless so fast.

Microsoft wants people to switch to Windows 11, which is a update if your computer can handle it. But not all computers can, so some people might need to buy a new one even if their current one works fine. Some say this pushes people to spend money they don't need to and makes electronic waste.

If you can't upgrade right away, Microsoft has Extended Security Updates (ESU). This gives you security patches for Windows 10 until October 2026. But it doesn't include tech support or new features. You can get ESU if you are running the latest version of Windows 10, have a Microsoft account, and back up your PC settings. Otherwise, it costs $30 or 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points. Businesses will pay $61 per device, which is higher.

Since 2015, Windows 10 has had updates with new stuff and security fixes. People liked it, especially after Windows 8 wasn't so popular. Windows 11 is a fresh start for Microsoft, but it could be difficult. People might not like that Windows 11 increasingly makes you log in with a Microsoft account for privacy reasons. Also, you need an account to get ESU, which could be a problem for some.

It's risky to stay on Windows 10 without updates because your system is more likely to get hacked. Companies using unsupported software may have difficulty staying compliant with regulations, according to Microsoft’s Consumer Chief Marketing Officer Yusuf Mehdi.

Also, some software companies might stop supporting Windows 10, so some programs might not work as well. This could be a problem if you need those programs for work or personal use.

Basically, the end of Windows 10 support is a big deal. You need to either upgrade to Windows 11 or get ESU to keep your computer safe. People are talking more about tech sustainability, repair options, and long-term support.
